All you need to understand is that it exists because people find it hot. If they want to go into detail and explain the hows and whys it's also probably because they find that part hot too. Also a shout out to all my ace friends who don't even find it hot but just really like kink aesthetic. If getting more details will make you find it more hot though, ask away if you can do so without coming across as dismissive of the concept or demonstrating a total unwillingness to suspend your disbelief.

Other than that, I try always to show to people that I am open minded over their interest no matter if a subject is or isn't a kink. Honestly, people should know that things can be always seen in different lights. I personally like lighthearted takes on most things and out of personal taste ignore sexual stuff for the most. We are all free to have our own views on connecting with themes. As long as we are understanding and can see eye to eye, then we should be able to still all hsve fun, right? ^_^
When I think of your character for example, I think they get into a lot of amusing surprisefilled situations. The outfits and costumes that some people come up with every now and then are rather fashionate or amusing looking. And when it comes to the hypnosis related stuff, I usually understand that fans of the subject like to retell that identity change situation in parallel universe theoretic ways as they seem to enjoy the thought of somebody else making decisions for them.
And yeah, I personally would likely say that I wish for no character to get their mind twisted but since it's a fetish subject, it is also clear that there is no harm or special reason other than the fantastic nature that you personally enjoy behind it. It's still unique and neat in its own way how everybody has their interests and also cool when things get shared through creative content. X3
And I believe the toon physics just makes it even hotter~ X///3
And in the end, my opinion isn't worth that much. (Unless you're me and rely on my opinion heavily.)
My point boils down to: "It's okay to overanalyze art as long as you are not a detriment to someone else enjoying the art."
