Hit my first weight loss goal today!

Welcome to my mind.
So, yeah, really excited about this personal milestone, finally turning some things around from the pandemic, and admittedly from before it. About a month or so ago, I checked my weight and realized I was at 311 pounds. Freaked me out a bit, but the upside was I finally started properly watching what I eat and exercising a lot more. Less snacks, way less sodas, less eating out and more focus on protein and veggies, the basic stuff but habits we'd fallen out of practice doing. And today I hit 289.5, so I'm sub 290, which was my first big weight loss goal. My next goal is to get down to 275, another fifteen pounds, and down to a weight I haven't been at for a few years. And then, well, let's see if I can lose some more. So, it's gonna be a journey, but I feel a lot better about myself and how I'm going.
