I don't read stories as often as I used too so I can't recall most of the writers whose stuff I read but I know Alysha Vexxing is by far my favorite. She is incredibly descriptive and she knows how to use those massive paws of her extremely well~ Sadly she is inactive now but I go to her page at times to re-read her stories.

Thanks for the reply and the stories. I've heard of Vexxing but I didn't know she had stories here on FA, I read Play Ball! just now and I quite like the shift between the characters and their points of view. And as advertised, it's quite descriptive, good stuff.

Your mini-story is nice too. Professional or no, passion is great, we need more of that. And as someone who also likes paws and feet a bit too much the ones in your story and the picture are nice. :v

No shame in commissioning a fanfic, especially when it's from Jeeves. I do remember reading this one about a year or so ago and liking it, so thanks for sharing a fun one for a re-read!

There's a few writers in this fandom who I've been following for over a decade. A major part of why I'm in this community is the legendary  Arilin , an actual published writer who just happens to have huge furries as her preferred subject matter. The takes on that subject matter have run the gamut over the years, right up to the recent project of an entire screenplay.

Another whose work I've been reading since I discovered this community is  DTF , who's done several excellent novel-length stories... that never quite manage to get completed, which is tragic considering how good they are and how much they make the reader want to know what happens next.

I'm tempted to recommend a huge list of writers, but having started with two prolific ones who have also been around forever, I don't want to bury anyone in reading suggestions. Yet.

Ooh, Arilin, now that's a name I haven't seen in a while. ...probably because I haven't watched her yet. Eternal shame upon me. Do you have any recommendations? I took a peek at the first two parts of her Moira series and they're quite entertaining.

And DTF, their name sounds familiar. Or maybe it's the acronym that's ringing bells. Do you have any recommended pieces of theirs that you enjoyed?

Moira's a great series, but a weird case, since it was intended to be a collection of near-meaningless vignettes, but quickly developed a massive overarching story that even Arilin can't predict yet. From her long-form works, I'd point you toward the screenplay, Red Savina. I'd recommend the Saida & Autumn series a bit higher, but most of that is Patreon exclusive. Arilin's short stories tend to be gripping (and hot), and I'm grateful I ran across her work when I was new to the fandom. A lot of what I read in my formative years left a permanent impression on me, and I'll never stop recommending one of her oldest stories, "Toy Soldiers." From more recent shorts, I think the standouts are "The Sea Monster of Dorgissey" and also "The Great Game."

DTF has also been a prolific writer for ages, and does a lot of short pieces that are complete button-pushers for me, and quite a few long works that have the single disappointing feature of not getting concluded. The complete edition of "These Messages" doesn't have that problem, and it makes great use of his most developed setting, a macro/micro dystopia where predation is industrialized. From his short stories, I gotta point out one of the most out-of-left-field inventive concepts I've ever read, in the story "A Good Catch." DTF is also someone who influenced my formative years, with his novel-length "Nature" and "Patron's War," but those were *so* long ago that they're not even on FA.
