I feel like sharing, debating and learning.
Ask me anything- No matter how controversial.
EG: What religion are you? how do you feel about abortion? Are you a racist? Have you ever jacked to cub porn?
I feel like debating with people and learn about topics that I have never considered before.
Ask me about a topic you want to talk about, and I will respond as honestly as I can with my own opinions.
Just remember, I am not after an argument. I want a debate- To give myself a chance to reconsider my own thoughts and to put other peoples stances to the test.
I want to learn about things I have never thought about. I want to learn why other people disagree with me.
Its been a while since I've had a good debate, I want to put my critical thinking to the test.
Topics I have enjoyed and topics I would like to learn more about:
Religion
Biology
Politics
Sociology
Defining 'Art' (a totally pointless topic, with no real end point)
Sexual health
Terrorism
aaannndd...... pretty much anything I haven't already listed. :-D

Are you religious?
If so why?/If not why?
Are there any religions you do agree with?
Are there any religions you don't agree with?
And why?
Let's go from there.
Agnostic. which isn't really a religion, rather a belief (or lack of) concerning religion. This view is more of a middle ground between Atheism and theism.
Deism. The belief that there is a God, or a creator but not believing or following the bible. Deists tend to believe that God is real and that God should be found by studying the universe, not by studying a flawed book. "If you leave your Bible outside the wind and the rain will destroy it- My Bible is the wind and the rain". Some Diests believe that there is a god alive and well, and that he is able to interfere in human life. Others believe god does not wish to interfere. Some believe God has moved on away from earth. And some believe that he created the universe, and ceased to exist, or that he died.
Pantheism (aka, Pandeism) is another interesting one which I have no problem with. The belief is that there is a god, but unlike many other religious views, Pantheism does not believe god is a a single being. Pantheism in short, is the belief that God is the universe. Scientific Pantheism is the belief that the universe is god, but god does not have a consciousness.
Atheism- Not to be confused with "Antitheism". Not believing, or not caring. I think 'God' is a very personal thing to someone. If they dont need a God to enjoy life, or if they dont believe God exists I dont think anyone has the right to try and say "you are going to hell for not believing". That hardcore Christian mindset just pisses me off.
Allot of self-proclaimed Atheists are really Antitheitsts.
Are there any religions you don't agree with? And why?
I don't agree with strong Antitheism- To generalize, these are usually the ones who go up to theists telling they are 'dumb' that there 'is no god' or anything like that.
One very common comment I hear from Antitheists is: "Evolution exists, therefor 'God' doesn't!" which shows a very strong ignorance in world religions. They will go around quoting biological facts and payout people for their faiths, but ask them what "Deism" is and they'll stare into space with a confused look on their face.
That much said, I am not a big fan of any organized religion either. I feel that while there are positives that can come out of it, there are also allot of questionable practices that would cease to exist if organized religion was abolished.
In addition, there are allot of things in the Bible that have made me stop and question Christianity and its branches. For example... You commit Adultery, you go to hell. You treat your parents like crap, you go to hell. Your wife accidentally touches with a penor while trying to stop you from fighting another man? You have the biblical obligation to chop off her hand. But if you commit pedophilia there are no biblical repercussions. Sure, no sane Christian would apply those rules today. Most 'Christians' I know either haven't read their book, dont understand what it says, or they don't believe in following it. Most Christians I know are Deists.
I'm not to keen on Paganism either- Or rather, the people who say they are Pagan. The small handful of self-proclaimed "Pagans" friends I have tend NOT to have the first clue as the what the religion is even about. It seems more like a fashionable thing to be into if you are a 'goth', rather than an actual religion anyone practices. Most of the ones I know see it as "the one where we believe in magic" and thats all the know. There are very few true Pagans.
I also dont like Scientology, but I can hardly say that it is a religion at all... I dont really think I need to say why I dont like it. I think anyone with half a brain can figure that one out for themselves.
Out of curiosity, from what you have read here... What religion, if any do you think I belong to? ;)

Also:
Are you religious? I generally categorise myself under the heading of Paganism, simply because it's easier for most people to understand... and either you like it or you don't, it's really that simple. What I do know, and do understand, and do believe in... has come from a lot of exploration of not only various cultures and their religions, but from a lot of soul-searching. As such I don't ascribe to one particular belief, nor do I actively 'practice' any religion, as it's more a way of seeing the world around me and interacting with it on a different level to what most people do. An every day thing rather then a "Sunday best" or "Every other meal" thing.
If so why?/If not why? This one's probably a little harder to explain, as I said it comes from a lot of searching, reading, seeking answers, looking at things multiple ways, etc, etc, etc. Why I am is because I can't be any other way knowing what I know, why I'm not is because I don't believe in following one point of view for the rest of my life. Even as I am now, my opinions are going to change next week, next year, in a decade... I won't always be the exact person that I am at this moment, and with my own personal growth comes a growth in my understanding of the world around me. To set myself into one category is to narrow my mind and loose focus on the wider picture. If that makes sense?
Are there any religions you do agree with? Actually, to various degrees yes and no. I agree with the ideas that most religions put forth, and I never ... shun someone, a group, or a belief just because it belongs to "Those People". I think that taking a look at all religions one can find common threads of truth, even if you back track to ancient cultures there are still threads that they all share amongst themselves and with modern beliefs. I believe that one only has to look and one will find, and if they can find objectively it'll be the truth that they see.
Are there any religions you don't agree with? And why? As above there are lots of degrees to this one. What I definitely DON'T agree with is war and death in the name of a religion. I can see the commonalities amongst a lot of religions and cultures, and it irks me no end when one says they're better then the other. No one is God's Chosen, we are all equal. Despite our race, color, culture... all our differences, and whether or not God does or doesn't exist/watch over us/love us and/or hate us... doesn't change the fact that we are here and that we have to live the best we can and do what we can for those around us. When people loose sight of that for the sake of a "Higher Power" by whatever name it's called, over a piece of land, and the difference in a prayer... it irks me.
I'm irked a lot lately though. That happens. XD
