Apparently, the wait for Sonic news and games is official over for us Sonic fans. SEGA has just announced this morning on there official Sonic Twitter account that the long-awaited 30th anniversary event for the long-running series will be happening this Thursday morning, 27th May at 9am PT/5pm UK time. The event promises to fans to include video game projects, partnerships, digital content and other announcements during the event. However, the event is basically going to be digital due to the ongoing outbreak and safety concerns for some people out there who haven't gotten vaccinated yet. So, yeah. Its going to go digital instead of having people go to the live event witch will include huge crowds and Sonic fans in it. So, yeah. going to the event or concerts in person with huge crowds won't be happening soon.


Anyway, it is really nice to see some more Sonic news again witch it has been a while for us. But now, the wait is finally over. I’m a little bit excited for this but I’m gonna hold my hopes up until I see a full details of the franchise 30th anniversary like the graphics, gameplay and possibly playable characters. We know Sonic will be playable but there are other characters in the series that needs to be playable again. Its been too long now. So, lets see what happens on that day once we get a full reveal of the 30th anniversary for the franchise.


Here are good names for future Sonic games that would fit well for the adventure game if SEGA ever announce the title for it. Here is the names I thought for myself. Sonic Legends, Sonic Ultra, Sonic Redemption, Sonic Dimensions, Sonic Heroes 2, Sonic Warriors, Sonic Strikers, Sonic Omniverse, Sonic and the magic spell book, (Story book series), Sonic Rift Breakers, Sonic Justice, Sonic Pirates Adventures (Story book series) and Sonic Crisis.
