There was an explosion in my neighborhood today. It happened while I was at school, but it was in the news when I got home and there are helicopters and police and all that. Luckily it seems no one was to seriously injured, but half a building was destroyed. It happened near the train tracks, but the trains are going as normal. It was also near the hospital, so hopefully everything is ok in there. The buildings directly next the the one that blew up were evacuated, one of which was a small grocery store I had just been to yesterday.

i remember several years ago a house in my neighborhood exploded once, unfortunately someone did die but since then they have built a new house where the old one once was

Luckily the building was vacant. Three people nearby were injured, but it seems that they are ok.

Everyone does seem safe, but apparently the rest of the building is going to have to come down. I'm also worried about the grocery store next door. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of their eggs went to waste.
