Gotten the first dose of the vaccine

I just wanna first start off this journal entry with a thank you to all those who have expressed their condolences in the previous one, things are still surreal and we're trying to come to grips with this.
But anyways, as the title of the journal entry says, I've gotten my first dose of the vaccine today, the Pfizer one.
So far I have not experienced any side effects, although the nurse asked us to wait in the clinic's waiting room for about half an hour afterwards to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction to the vaccine as its still quite new and all that, but I was fine after half an hour, so we went home.
Probably gonna feel some of the side effects tomorrow, since that's when a lot of people say it hits, but that just means its working as intended.

I received the Pfizer too at the start of the year: the first dosage was without any side effect (with the exception of a certain muscle soreness in my arm which is completely normal).
Do not worry about the fact that they asked you to wait after the vaccination; it is a standard procedure that is done for quite every vaccination (altough, like you said this vaccine is in fact new).
With the second dosage I experienced some side effects (fever, bone and muscle pain, .... a sort of flu like scenario).
My advice is be sure to have some over-the-counter medication (antipyretic and analgesic, something like aspirin or Acetaminophen). However I wish you a safe vaccination, withouth any side effects.
