Yeah, I've already run into at least 3 who have me blocked despite never having personally interacted with them, just through comments on pieces of theirs - comments I feel weren't really over the top given others I'd seen on those same pieces, so I doubt that was the reason for it - and the third I had NEVER interacted with whatsoever, either personally or through comments - that one really confuses me.

Never personally had it happen. I probably wouldn't put too much thought or care into it, unless you're like, being ignored by an actual friend.

It's more just irritating that I can't favorite art I enjoy, because the artist has blocked me. I don't recall having ever interacted with this particular artist, and I've been following them for a long time. It irks me, because it almost feels like some person is going around telling random artists to block me for some reason.

Thankfully it hasn't happened with any of my favorite artists, but I've had more than a few people block me for no discernable reason and that means I can't favorite their art anymore. I can still watch their accounts for some reason, or at least it doesn't unwatch me from their accounts for some reason. But I can't favorite art.

Same here. I go to fav a pic and it says I have been blocked. I have been blocked by 2-3 artists and I have no idea why. I feel like leaving them a note or a shout asking why, but don't know if I should.

The note/shout won't go through anyway if you're blocked.

Some artists jsut seem to do it randomly
I had someone do it to me earlier this week, claiming my account was blank (as in I had nothing in it when I did)

I haven’t had it happen on this site as far as I know. But I have had it happen a couple times on Twitter now.
It’s weird cause I didn’t know either of those individuals and couldn’t have interacted with them because I didn’t even now they existed... so it just whatever. I don’t let it get to me personally.

Could be a reason nobody would understand anyways. People are sometimes just weird like that. They don't necessarily have a valid reason...they just do whatever. Wouldn't worry too much about it.

I'm sure folks have blocked me cos they hate leather. Silly thing to hate, but you get the point. Sometimes the reason is silly and entirely on them.

There's some furs who really hate religious people so they block them onsight, its a bit stupid because the same furs will claim to be tolerate XD
