Well... perception is once again in question after hearing something in a much different perspective.
For any fans for Transformers '86, what if I were to tell ya that ol' Screamy was actually female in the French Dub of the movie?

Yep, Shrapnel is a gal in the dub too? And I gotta say... dang it, I got a crush on both of 'em now! Yet strangely enough, it's only for the movie, not the show. Weird.
The whole abuse aside, imagine if Starscream WAS a female. I don't think certain designs are OVERTLY sexy, and I ain't gonna complain about boobs, but if ya look at original G1 Seeker design, especially in the chest area, well.....
And especially when we see Starscream in his coronation get-up, AND DANG HE IS THICC THERE!
Would I mind seeing genderswap versions of different characters? Not gonna speak for EVERY fan. Me personally, not at all. I mean we got that already with Acid Storm and Cosmos in 'Cyberverse'. ^^ Even Clobber in Cyberverse looks like Lugnut from TFA.
Just wanted to throw my two Energon chips in this, and say French dub of Starscream is hot.

It led to some awkward moments in the English dub.
Conversely, in Transformers Cybertron, Override (known locally as Nitro Convoy) was male in Japan.
Know about Override/Nitro Convoy. ^^
