Today is one of the hardest days I have faced.

Today marks my mother’s 66th birthday.

Every day has hurt since I’ve lost her with today being a day as if you stuck a finger into the fresh wound. Even now all I can say is that I want her back so badly; even if it were for a moment. I envy those that still have their mothers; however my message to those that still have them would be this: never take the time you have with them for granted. Cherish every moment and make the most of it for you will never know when the next could be their last. If they have bad habits or addictions to anything: do all you can to help them stop. Never fault them for why they do it and never do anything out of anger to force them to stop. Be as supportive to them as they have been with you growing up.
