Tablet Situation is now fixed

I got an email back from xp-pen saying the issue was caused by a recent windows update (kb5003637). and seeing that i couldn't uninstall the update no matter what i tried, i reinstalled windows from scratch, and installed all the updates except for the 20H2 one which contains the afformantion little quality update that ruined my weekend.
I don't know if later updates will fix this issue, xp-pen seemed to imply that there was no plan to update the driver for my tablet, obselescence and all that.
So for now, it works, automatic updates is disabled, all is gud

i use xp-pen tablet, will updating windows break my tablet too?

depends if it's an older or new tablet. mine is an Artist 16 that uses the old driver the KB5003637 update messes up. you should be fine if you have anything more recent than mine
