I had an artist I really liked randomly have me blocked too. I'd never communicated with them ever, had wanted to commission them for a while and had finally saved up to do it. Was really confused but couldn't message them, so I had a friend do it to ask if there had been a mixup, like they'd meant to block someone else and had clicked me, etc. Only response we got was "I don't remember them but I'm not comfortable talking to someone who would use a friend to bypass a block" and then blocked my friend too....like wtf how else are we supposed to resolve the situation?? I ended up just giving up and unwatching them, was really frustrating.

yea such things are stupid. I even got blocked for no reason too, or once for simply saying that I like the NSFW version of a picture better than the SFW-Version.

The same thing happened to me multiple times, don't worry about it, it has happened to almost everyone, and they are all as confused as you are.
