Recently, a few friends had gifted me a few games and they're really fun... Going Medieval is a fun new singleplayer indie game, it plays like Rim World except it's 3D and has the ability to build up or down... Though no machine-based technology, so keeping things cold in the middle of summer is quite annoying since the easiest way is to build deep underground.
Conan Unconquered is a fast paced PvE RTS survival, gotta work to keep your base in tact, hero alive, and survive a seemingly endless onslaught of enemies.
Even been getting back into RuneScape (again lol), a friend bought me a bond recently and its been plenty of fun!
Dwarfheim is pretty fun too, a 3 player coop survival.. One player is a Builder for economy/farms/civilian upgrades. One player is a Miner, being underground for mineral resources like Iron/Gold/Steel/ect. And the last player is a Warrior for military stuff.
Recently played some First Feudal with a friend and we got a good colony up and running, keeping things going well for as long as we can.
Iron Harvest was free through I think a bug through Steam... It's a fun game similar to Company of Heroes except with big steampunk war machines in WW-era times.
PlanetSide 2 I have started to get into yet again with the help of some friends.. It's hard to play a giant scale PvP game when you're all alone cus than dying a whole lot feels pointless without someone to point things out to help the whole team.
Though for some other random games...
Project Zomboid is a fun zombie survival that's in early access... Top down view with semi-realistic ways to survive, like being able to cook food, to fishing, stealth, building, and even vehicles, with more coming in the future.. The game isn't abandoned, and the devs post devblogs every Thursday on their website. I do wish they'd post them to Steam as well so people would stop thinking the game might get abandoned.
Stellaris is a fun 4X RTS.. Don't really know how to explain this game. It's fun to play vanilla and modded, but is too heavily relied on DLC to get all the content and many of the good mods.
I have too many games on Steam and most of them have been gifted over the years lol. But fun to play games with friends and be chill. Though I am more of a PvE person and there's not enough people who like PvE games.
