Spreading my wings

                            Ahoy there!

Ho bungana! It's been a while XD
But yeah, a wise man once said "Life is like a hurricane" and no words have ever been truer. The last year and a half has been full of dizzying highs and ball-crushing lows, and by the end of it all I've pretty much rewritten the book on who I am, starting with what I know to be true, and moving out from there.
I'm finally on medication for, and recovering from my depression that I've had almost continuously for ten years. I finally feel free to begin exploring my gender, and have so far discover that I'm not, and never was, a guy. I'm really looking forward to being who I am going forward. I've also come to the conclusion that I'm very aromantic (not aromatic, my BO ain't that bad XD) and demisexual, which has seriously helped me get a much more healthy grasp on what I want from my relationships. Looking back, it's remarkable how much discontent was caused by my not knowing these things.
But, putting painful memories behind me, this pride month has been the best by leagues for me! Now that I finally have a relatively decent understanding of who I am and (clue's in the name) being proud of that fact.
My skill in art has come on in leaps and bounds over the last year, I haven't been uploading much mainly due to hectic personal circumstances, and the fact that most of what I've been drawing is loose sketches and practice peices, but I'm sure I can scrape together some finished peices for the gallery. And there will be more to come, as well as commissions from friends and artists I admire in the near future. On top of that, I'll finally be competing in artfight this year. Choosing between my two loves: Steampunk and Cyberpunk, has not been an easy decision but given Skylands is my main canon, Steampunk it is (sorry Bitrunner Kyu, we still love you).
Final thing I want to talk about is the future. I'll still be persuing my engineering degree as long as they'll let me, but in my spare time I'll be working on Sky Lab Software, finally hitting the indie gamedev market as a hobby if nothing else. And hey, if it becomes enough to sustain me maybe I'll be able to make it full time. But for now it's fun and that's good enough for me. Due to personal circumstances I'll have to pretend to be someone else, again, through most of July and August, but after that I plan to start investing in myself fully, which will mean more art, more games, more stories and a lot more of me being me.
A big thanks to those of you who were able to stick with me through this, thanks for and amazing Pride Month and many more to come.
