I REALLY Dislike Asthma Ads/Commercials

It over dramatizes it, by A LOT, not every asthmatic person wheezes like they're trying to inhale all the air in the atmosphere. I don't wheeze when I have an asthma attack and it caused me a LOT of problems and that was that no one, not even my family believed me when I had asthma attacks, never bought me an inhaler, even as a kid and would lock up my asthma medication because they thought I was faking my asthma attacks. Basically, don't cast suspicion on the kid and punish them for it if they don't wheeze when having an asthma attack. Not every asthmatic kid has the over dramatization of an asthma attack like what TV shows.
My family, pretty much, was trying to kill me over it because they honestly believed I was faking my asthma attacks and thought I was "addicted" to the medication. When no, I really do have asthma attacks often. I literally had weeks, not nights/days, where I wouldn't get any sleep at all because I would be having an asthma attack and I couldn't relieve it.
And the worst part? My father has asthma and he still would never believe I wasn't faking my asthma attacks.
