Can't stop the Signal

Hey guys, writing this as an update and sort of FAQ for Signal Ghost. I'm super excited and things are coming along great. I'm out of school now and in spite of some rather big stressors I've recently dealt with, things are pretty good. I'm about half way through the first chapter of Signal Ghost.
For those of you that don't know, Signal Ghost has been a project I've had kicking around in my head for ever. I tried to do it as a comic, multiple times in fact, but I just couldn't tell the story at the pace I wanted too and was constantly finding I had to limit my story for time. I realized that visual novels were a thing and actually matched what I wanted to do way better, and so far, I'm having a blast.
Signal Ghost will be a cyberpunk/supernatural horror/fantasy/romance. That's a lot to swallow but I have strong elements of all of that. It will be LGBT themed and it will be adult in nature. My aim with the story is to break boundaries a bit. I want to create a story where the protegonist characters can be gay and non-binary and yet are the heroes and are not negative or tired stereotypes. I feel we have not ever really gotten very much media that gives us likable characters that serve as good models of how LGBTQ can be normal and healthy. I also have a set of characters that I love and want to do something with.
So, I am about 2/3s through creating chapter one. My work takes a bit longer than standard VNs often do because I am not satisfied with the "character sprite on background talking for 30 minutes to fill space" model of VNs. I feel VNs give use the ability to do so much more, so my aim is to make my VN feel very cinematic with different shots, camera angles, and views of the scenes and characters that carry us through a rich and location heavy narrative.
What can you expect: When I finish chapter one, I will post it on Patreon. Shortly before this, I will advertise my Patreon again. I made my Patreon a bit pre-maturely so I haven't really been pushing it or updating right now because I just don't feel it's fair to be taking money without a product to offer. It's still there and if any of you want to support sooner, note me and I'll gladly link you, and a deep and heartfelt thanks if you do, but if you want to wait, I'll drop it when I am closer to posting.
"So it's gonna be Patreon exclusive?" Only for now. The first chapter will be Patreon Exclusive until chapter 2 is done. When Chapter 2 is done, chapter 1 will be released on itch.io and I may try to release it on Steam as well if it's possible. Chapter 2 will remain exclusive until chapter 3 is out, then it will be released too. So as a patreon, you get it for the monthly fee, and any patreon exclusive things I make. If you want the public build, then it's a one time payment for each chapter at your discretion. My prices will be very low because money is not my goal. I want this story to be accessable and I want as many people as I can get to see it and hopefully get something special from it. I'm a story teller, guys. This is what I live for.
"Where can I find you?" I am currently here and on twitter DuskyArts . I have pages on DA and FA and FN but they have not been updated. Sometime this summer I plan on getting all those back up and running so as to reach more people. If you like my work and you want to support it, help me promote it!
