Square serves Ireland and Stripe has a office in Dublin.

Square, Venmo, and Googlewallet seem to be the big ones but sadly, Paypal is THE biggest 'digital money' website :/

The unfortunate part as (speaking as another artist), Paypal's the only thing furries use. I've tried to use alternatives a while back and lost basically all my regulars and clients because it was an extra hurdle to jump :/

Stripe is available in many countries. We've been considering it since we're UK based and want to ditch Paypal. They're a lot more friendly about furry and adult content, as well.

I think Subscribestar uses Skrill, not sure if that's AUS-only, though. Might be worth looking at, I guess?

I'm using Payoneer successfully to run my Patreon, and their helpline is pretty good too!

This honestly puzzles and scares me... can this ban also happen with personal accounts? Because all the information I got on the internet is that it's something that has been happening to business/company accounts but I may be making a mistake... :/

I personally have been slowly transitioning to Square myself but after this may be a faster transition. Like the video was also talking Paypal is common and preferred from customers so with square so far I'm glad that others in my area are familiar with it that' I haven't lost all of my customers but I still have some customers that ask for paypal & change their mind when I've told them that I'm transitioning to square due to examples like this happening. Three years ago read a similar experience that happened to a bigger artist that I follow and it recked her art business for quite a while which got me into square but I kept paypal as an alternative. Now I'm about ready to drop paypal as a accepting for payments and just use it for when I buy very rarely when I have no other checkout option. I do like square for a site integration using weebly for my store which has been a big plus for me and when I'm at conventions I have a card reader on the go that is square synced for those POS in person. But I hope you luck in your choice of alternatives.
