The sad reality is that your work is going to be reposted anyways, whether or not it's downloadable. You might as well make it more convenient for some by adding it to a Mega or something, and protect (and even advertise?) yourself with a discreet watermark!

As mentioned above, it's easier and reliable when something's offline.
It also generally is higher quality than you'll see through any streaming service's compression.
There's also long term preservation, cloud links are not guaranteed, they last only as long as the server owner says so.

Archival purposes and easier access. The Internet sometimes behaves in a very paradox way: stuff you don't want anyone to know keeps reappearing, yet sometimes you can't find something you're desperately looking for. Sites go down, people clean their galeries and delete older stuff or decide one day to take down everything. It's good to have a personal copy in that case, so you can still personally view it whenever you like.
