I'm prey and always will be prey. I know it's early but I'm surprised to see the predators outnumber the prey! Given comments over the years on various sites, it always seemed that prey greatly outnumbered predators! Well cool - more choices of which stomach I end up in, heh. :3

Indeed. I thought for sure the general consensus was that there was more prey overall, but its kinda neck and neck.

I could never see myself, at least yet, in any vore role except prey. Even as a lurker before I starting to work on content, I saw myself as prey and never felt comfortable in games/stories/etc. where I'm in a pred POV. I just can't "feel" that predatory dominance. Not just that, I can't see myself as a submissive pred either.
That doesn't mean I feel "submissive prey only" in a sense though, in terms of dominance/submissiveness I can see myself as a dom/sub switch. I like the idea of both submissive or dominant prey, I just can't apply myself to predatory dominance so in vore I prefer putting myself in the role of prey.

I can write 3rd person stories of preds, but I just can't put myself in that position.
There are A LOT of people that prefer the prey role, and I understand that they have various reasons as to why.

As for pred eating pred, I've never really liked that dynamic much. Pred eating a true switch is different and switches eating switches is different too but for those who prefer pred or prey, they are like that for a reason and I don't like those reasons being pushed. I sure wouldn't like someone trying to push me to be pred.

I'm just talking as me, myself. I have characters that fit all the three main vore roles but if I were to put myself in their shoes, it would likely be prey or a switch in a situation where they are prey.

I'm switch... Being prey always can get tiresome.

I prefer to be more prey as being engulfed can feel good.

Normally i like to switch, but considering it's a preference, i would say prey

I stick to prey myself but only with certain types of pred. I don't deal with pain/death stuff well so I tend to prefer endo preds that just want their prey to be cozy and safe. Bonus points if they like it kinky.

The 10-20% of the time I want to be a predator, it's nomming those I have some sort of (usually friendly) rivalry with (Lucarios, Greninjas.) ...actually, having searched FA for every pic I have of me as predator, other than a scant few where I nommed  sparkythechu and  tailslover13, I think every other instance of me eating another critter is a Lucario or a Greninja (and most of those Lucarios are  GalileoStar, and most of those Greninjas are  1234567810)

That said I don't do perma.

I'm a Switch with a preference of being pred! Because Libra is such an cute pred! Even tho she prefer to be called Fierce and mighty!

Switch, and i play a lot too. But unfortunately theres more prey people around and I cant be a prey as much as i'd like to be

in most cases a pred, thats how it started out because most people i ended up doing and RP with wanted the big orc to be the pred. back then i myself felt more prey-ish but have gotten more comfortable as a pred. So i generally see my main guy as a pred

I like to believe I'm a switch who can do both, but it also strongly depends on my mood and the folks I interact with.

Some people just gives you that spark that truly makes you want to swallow them down, while others just create that spark where you practically want to offer yourself on a plate for them. It also depends on how burnt out I am on a particular role. I have a tendency to get swamped with prey types a lot so I feel extremely burnt out on being pred a lot of the time. Not to mention I struggle with finding preds myself, so I just don't get to experience being prey as much as I like. Maybe I just don't look in the right places or maybe I just have bad luck? Who knows.

Either way, I can definitely be both and find enjoyment in both roles when and if I can.
