My thoughts on He-Man Revelations

(Spoilers ahead)
'Fore I get started, I just wanna say I never actually saw the original 80s He-Man show. Prolly some clips on Cartoon Network... if it was ever on Cartoon Network, I honestly can't remember. Most of my knowledge comes from the show from 2002, and even back then I was just a casual fan. But I id have a knowledge about He-Man from other sources. Casual fan, but I still liked the story, concept and characters. I mean c'mon, who wouldn't like a dude named Ram-Man? I wanna see him take down Juggernaut! XD
'So why did you watch this show when you was never really a fan?!', so screams the bitch-boys of the internet. Simple: awesome animation, aforementioned previous knowledge, and FRICKIN' MARK HAMMIL AS SKELETOR!!! And this is a continuation of the 80s cartoon, not a reboot... AS PEOPLE STILL CANNOT TELL THE FRICKIN' DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE!!!
So yeah, I saw it... and I loved it. And this is coming from a person who can't stand a lot of the old 80s looks of the original; He-Man, Thundercats, and She-Ra. If I were to compare this to the recent 'War for Cybertron' show on Netflix... (scoffs), no contest. I had more emotional investment in the five episodes of this He-Man show than I ever did with 90% of the characters in 'War for Cybertron' in the 2 seasons that it's had so far. And I'm not as hopeful for 'Kingdom' coming out this week.
Of course, we got the Jerk-off Jeremys, and pretty much almost every He-Man fan under the sun are hating on this. Geeks+Gamers Jeremy, of course, calling this a 'bait and switch' with Teela like Sylvie was in 'Loki'. Yeah, crap like this that these morons continuously spew out always makes me question the validity of you actually viewing the show. Especially when Geeks+Gamers said they they didn't actually watch Loki but said that's how they know it'll play off as.
And especially when these clowns accuse Teela of being whiny throughout. Again, I question if you actually did watch the damn thing? Also, where've I heard this lie continuously being thrown out by shitstains like Geeks+Gamers about a certain Captain Marvel?
'OH YOU SOUND LIKE THE KINDA PERSON THAT WOULD ENJOY THIS SHOW; JUST LIKE THE FEMALE-LEAD STAR WARS, THE NEW SHE-RA, CAPTAIN MARVEL AND BLACK WIDOW!'
-_- And people wonder why nerd culture is looked down upon with either distain or disgust. AND YES, I FRIGGIN' LOVE THE NETFLIX SHE-RA SERIES! IS THAT A PROBLEM?!
No, we do get a good does of both He-Man and Skeletor throughout these 5 episodes. More focus is on Teela, Evil-Lyn, and the rest of the characters presented, and are all likeable. We see them conquer challenges, especially with Orko. (sighs) Oh, my boy Orko.
So yea, the people complainin', once again just pissy fanboys who didn't get what was expected, felt like they were lied to, felt like creators actually owed and promised them something. So naturally they feel like it's a plot and agenda against men. Good God, when will these babies grow up?
But yea, go check it out if ya'll have Netflix. Your mileage may vary, sure, but it's a fun romp throughout, and I geniunely can't wait for part 2. ^^
Thanks for your time.

FA+

It definitely needs to stop for Transformers.
Also Skeletor got shit done.
But back on the subject of 2002 MOTM. Ya ever watch the council of doom episode and when the spider dude drops down, you just pretend you're Skeletor and you ask him "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" because they aired spider dude's episode and this one out of order? :P
Off topic a bit but I highly reccomend the Netflix Castlevania Anime.
As for Castlevania, it is indeed cool.
