As you may be aware, this month has been... slightly less than active on my part. I've effectively written nothing barring some minor commission work today, and now that I'm better of health, I figured I'd give the full rundown of what took place.

In the first couple days of July, my mother was tested positive for COVID. Predictably, within the next few days, my father fell ill, followed by myself; while our symptoms were light and entirely manageable at first, so much so that I still did some writing work, things quickly progressed to the point where I was completely knocked out and unable to do anything whatsoever on account of serious nausea, lack of appetite/eating, and incredibly poor sleep. This culminated in me spending a good four days not eating anything properly, which worsened into bouts of vomiting, which led to me being hospitalized for five days.

While at the hospital, I was informed that I had developed COVID-induced pneumonia. I wasn't on a ventilator, but did end up receiving oxygen to keep myself stable, and am currently being weaned off medication while undergoing breathing exercises; I still can't lie down on my back without some serious pulmonary distress.

Thankfully, everyone involved made it through. Both my parents have made a recovery and, despite my medication being foul, I've rested up and recovered enough that I can return to my regular work.
