Hey everyone! Just a random journal today. There was a crazy thunderstorm that came through last night! Normally I love a good storm. Especially at night, there's no better sleep than on a rainy night! At least for me. However, it's less fun when said thunderstorm knocks out the power in the middle of the night. I was woken up at two-thirty in the morning when the power went out. The thunder was so loud that it was rattling the windows! Rocky was barking cause he thought someone was trying to get into the house! So I comforted the doge and got him back in bed (yes he already sleeps in bed with me ) but then I couldn't fall back asleep. I always sleep with a fan on. I like the noise and the cool breeze on my face. Without it, I have a hard time sleeping. Plus, there was so much lightning I could see it through the curtains and my closed eyes! Needless to say, I'm one sleepy moose today. And I couldn't even make coffee this morning! The power finally came back on about an hour ago and I finally got some caffeine in me! I'm going to have a good day regardless! On the plus side, the storms broke the ridiculous heat wave we were having! It's actually gorgeous out right now!
