August 2021: Commissions + More

Good morning! I hope everyone is well~
There are a couple of things I would like to cover, as well as a few announcements to make.ArtFight
Now that Artfight is pretty much over,
I have the remainder of my drawings from this year scheduled to post throughout the beginning of this month!
I didn't do nearly as much art this year as I did last, but I did have fun!

August is here, and that means commissions are finally open again!!
Since last time, I have raised my prices to reflect the time and effort I've put into each piece and changed a few points in my T.O.S. just to clarify some things. The biggest change was with Colored Sketches since their quality has significantly increased since I started making them; I have also merged "cell shaded" and "painterly" to create one category of "rendered". The new prices factor in Paypal's new policy on their cut of the profits.
This month, I will be testing the waters with a slot based system every week to see how I manage, and will be making adjustments as I see fit.
For this first week, I'm opening two slots.

I want to be more interactive with my community! And what better way to do so than with some art trades <3

With art trades, I typically wait until you complete your part before starting mine, just to make sure I don't get scammed out of my time and work.
I try to match the type of art made for me as well (headshot for headshot, fullbody for fullbody etc.)

Weasyl! It's a great site!! But it's so quiet over there, it needs more traction! I like it alot and I want more people to use it!
It's a well rounded "gallery" style site, that allows you to post not just images, but also literature, videos and even music!
NSFW artwork is allowed, but the rating sytem is taken extremely seriously (unlike deviantart who just let's people post whatever >.>) The site has an emphasis on the tagging system which can not only help you get your artwork found by others, but it ALSO has a tag filter!! So if you dont want to see a certain type of artwork, you can block that tag.
The tagging system IS important and helps filter content. Please take the tags seriously and don't post joketags on your artwork.
There is a decent amount of customization (not nearly as extensive as classic deviantart) but I like the look of the pages over all.
One of my favorite systems is the "collection" system where you can store artwork other people on the site has made for you. It adds it to a "gallery" on your page, but links back to the original post and gives the original artist some love and attention!
They currently have a "spambot" protection up, where new accounts must be verified by an active member, but if you make an account feel free to send it to me and I'll verify it for you!

i would prefer original artworks as part of a trade; just so it's fair on both ends.
art skill level isn't a factor when picking trades, i'm cool with literally anything as long as the work is entirely their own ovob
