A note on older adoptables

Keep in mind this isn't directed at anyone in particular, nor am I upset, I just feel bad I can't be more of a help. Anyways.
I've noticed a bit of an interest in some of my designs that are around 2-3, sometimes 4 years old now, and I'll be honest, ive got a terrible memory, i will not sell you older designs as im terrified of accidently reselling something I've already sold. I can barley recall what ive had for breakfast much less if I sold a design or not years ago, I make so many adopts. So truly and genuinely my apologies to anyone trying to snag an older design, I just don't trust my memory nor do I want to risk causing drama. I hope you understand. Thankyou. 💖
Edit: I appriciate everyone's comments but im really not looking for suggestions here, I do in fact organize my current designs into the sold or unsold folder, but ive had thus account since high-school, actually maybe middle school, and I dont want to or have the energy to go through hundredsor maybe even thousands of designs, sorry!

Even if they're claimed off site, having their status updated underneath is so helpful. It doesn't have to be said EXACTLY who got it and where publicly - I know some makers prefer to keep that private - just that it's not available anymore, like adding "CLOSED", "CLAIMED" whatevs in an edit of the description would be so golden.
I know it's a lot of effort to go back through them all and do this given how many you've posted, so I'm not saying you have to do that aa - but for posts going forward I think it could benefit everyone involved...
I see I didn't take the folders into account at all, though, so apologies for that also. (I usually find designs [here] through the sitewide search, or notifs if I'm watching already, so I don't always remember to consider what folders say) 🙇♂️
