The game SOLATOROBO: RED THE HUNTER has some great female characters: Merveille (Dog) or Opera (Cat). They have great designs and would be good options.
Great game, sham it hasn't been ported to the switch...

Nicole the Lynx (archie Sonic) is always a favorite of mine as is Bunnie Rabbot (SatAm Sonic version).
Non Sonic related Carmelita Fox (Sly Cooper) and Diana (animal crossing) are also favs.

Carmelita from Sly Cooper! Her design from the first game (no lipstick and some other subtle differences, plus a really cute alternate japanese design) would be my fav if it matters any.
Florence Ambrose (Freefall) and Alef (Shining Force) would be cool too, very underappreciated gals.
