Tech drives me spare

"You know you make the world a special place, just by being you."
Fred Rogers.
Fred Rogers.
I just got done with Amazon tech support. The short version is, I had an inactive phone number tied to my account. Instead of a nice little "I lost my phone" button, they make you talk to support and reset your password. (If there's documentation on this process, I don't know where to find it.)
And then there's Gmail. It doesn't actually sort my messages my category (i.e. place them in discrete folders); it applies labels to the ones in my inbox. So cluttered.
If technology is made to serve humanity, why is it so inhuman? Why isn't it easier to adapt to my mind? And why must the interface keep changing?
