I'll say I'm more into semirealistic art; too realistic stuff brings the uncanny valley effect. My main inspiration are Wizards of the Coast artists!

First anthro pic ever I saw was on elfwood and never downloaded it. I didn't like the concept of 2 legged animals... i remember it was fantasy scene of deer and wolf in prison

I was never fully into anthro stuff, I am more into of humanoids living next to feral dragons and gryphons. I still am! I may call myself furry though because I interact in this community, go to conventions, sell prints, have many feral sapient characters

And yes, it is hard to put a line between popular media and furry artwork at times. Especially with feral dergs, gryphons and other mythical creatures.

I myself would more or less put the line where it isn't just a random creature, but rather someone's OC, or when the artwork is furry in and off itself, as often is the case with anthro artwork.

I myself have after all seen many pictures of dragons long before the one I linked, but that were the first one where I realized that, "ah, so this is not just a random dragon someone made for the picture, nor something from a movie, book, game or similar..." Before it I never really thought that there existed this whole community of people that draw various anthropomorphic creatures in various scenes, usually with a more personal flare.

What caused you to draw dragon - human couples?

I'm not into anhtros x.x I can draw them sure, but I do not own like many characters like these. Maybe 3-4. In comparison I have much more human characters and also ferals

What caused my outing with it-I guess I was under huge stress in November 2019 and I started to draw sketches of this forbidden topic. I always liked it, collected art of it from E621. I was thinking people will kill me for drawing such stuff but thankfully only few reacted badly ^^;

Some of my characters do like orgies but aren't into polygamy in their everyday life. For example, most of my dragons don't dance and when they think of parties, sex and orgy comes into their minds

What types of backgrounds you wish you could draw but are either hesitant or scared to do so?

At this point there are none like it; I can model in 3d/know how to photobashso i have no fear of complicated landscapes. I like challenge myself so yeah

There are backgrounds though I don't like and I feel complicated; These are sci-fi places. I'm not into this genera and I'd be very overhelmed thinking how to make this work if it was based on my own knowledge. I'm not a phycist so yeah ;/ I'd model stuff like it with reference only

3D modeling seems to be a great boon to most artists it seems. Did it take you long to learn? Any program you enjoy using?

I would say that I would have trouble with sci-fi as well, but backgrounds in general are one of my banes.

I was learning on blender 2.79 for one month in 2017. I hated it. I stopped.

I decided to try it again because I had to create castle for one of my commissions this year so it began again... and honestly current blender is a bliss to use. I create models in it for like half a year now. There are many tutorials on yt, start with donut tutorial tho

I heard blender was super difficult to deal with. It is relieving to hear that it has gotten better over the years. You are making me consider taking a shot at it for once.

What made you decide to make your art a career and what do you feel help drive you to continue in the artistic field and not give up?

I was at 4th year on Psychology and I was about to search for paid internship. Art was my huge hobby so my boyfriend (now husband) thought-"what about you started to work as an artist in mobile game studio I'm in".

I was like "yeah let's do it". I worked 2014-2016 and I decided that it's not my true calling so I switched to freelance furry art. and I love it

What makes me not give up are challenges. Things I want to learn keep me on going. I love trying out new things. The second thing are my characters

I like to cook and I cook rather OK also fast. It's like my second talent after 2D/3D art. I'm sometimes lazy (especially during summer) so I tend to order takeouts, do lazy stuff like gazpacho or very easy pasta

When I reached 30 I saw I rarely enjoy takeout ;/ It's gets heavy on my stomach... ;_;

Back in the day it was the foliage which i hated most, but I decided to do studies on ghibli stills and it helped me understand how to draw interesting plants; now what I see it's magic. I draw picture with magic now and i must learn how to draw it good. drawing artificial lights in convincing way is something I must improve. Second thing that i find hard but still cool to draw is human skin; I have knowledge about it but when I draw a muscular man i tend to shrinkwrap guys/girls and I want to give my people more tissues ^^;

I like drawing anything honestly, I can't say it's only one thing. One is sure though, I hate boredom

Well he became my alterego; sadly I was born a woman and it's my fantasy of how about I'd like to look like as a guy. It's what makes me keep going; my dissatisfaction with my own gender... I recently decided to redcon Smonny and make him a guy because I'm into guys... they started as characters, they are kind of representation of me.

'fake it until you make it'. Seriously, draw, do not compare with others, just get inspired. Draw a lot. Stick to positive people, be in happy supporting relationship or surround yourself with friends

I wasn't art prodigy, i just wanted to draw and get better.

I really like the combination of 3D and painting, you can get the best of both worlds: the accuracy/perspective/on model of 3D, and then you improve it with your painting skills, adding details/effects. It's something I wish I could see more often.

I got lucky and some of my renders have stuff painted over them by a very generous anonymous artist. Too bad I could never do something like that by my own.

when I was small i loved blue, then it was red and now I love all of them, especially warm tones. I love deep blue on clothing, it's why Uther's vest is that colour
