Experimenting always helps, you could try drawing the same picture a few times, each with different possible brushes?

I actually do that almost all the time lol I have a lot of brushes, so before I ink, I tend to do a few parts in different brushes to see. Doesn't make it any easier to pick :P

Ah, fair enough

While I appreciate that writing is a whole different animal from visual art, I've often found that the more I fret and pick at something like this, the harder it can be to resolve. I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with trying different styles and different looks, and I suspect that if you can find a way to just have fun with it, a more defined look will begin to coalesce. I understand the frustration of feeling like you don't have things nailed down, and things not looking/feeling quite the way you want them, but I have no doubt it'll work out eventually. In the meantime, maybe giving yourself license to experiment could be fun.

I think you're partly right!

Having so many choices is stressful. I'm often told to just do what I want in the momment, half the time that works, the other half I just can't decide and get stressed lol I guess it's why I want to find a general "look" I'd like to do. But it keeps changing >< Especially as I find new artists I like.

It's also hard to tell myself "Just because you like this person's art, doesn't mean yours needs to look that way". I have a hard time doing thick lines, and that's just how I naturally am, so why force myself to do what another does? But it's easier said then done, very easy to just, want to do what you think looks nice at the time.

I've always been a fan of your style as its easy to pick out when glancing at thumbnails when people you have done art for post before you post. So I have had a hard time coming up with a helpful response.

I do understand being a creative person and some times being frustrated with the things you come out with. It is fun to try and emulate another person's style. Maybe instead of trying to pick a single style for everything maybe try to put a certain style for what you are working on. Like a softer line and shading for cute romantic and a little sharper line and shading for a character running or a spooky thing, a thin crisp line for the occasional inflatable/pool toy character. Or since you have a separate profile for more adult themes maybe you could try and separate the SFW and NSFW with a little different style.

This is my personal opinion.

If you stick to one particular style, you might be a comic artist.

If your style varies, you might be a personal artist intent on discovering themselves.

I get it. But I mean more like, changing constantly per image. I don't want or expect to stick to something forever. But it can be stressful to second guess every single image you do.
