Hey all! Sorry for my absence the past couple days. Tuesday night, some more storms moved through my area and knocked out the power AGAIN! Around 8 on Tuesday, I lost power and it wasn't restored until around 3 this morning. Plus it was around 100 degrees (Fahrenheit) all day yesterday, and I had no electricity all day! The fun never ends! I spent last night and Tuesday night sitting in lantern light, listening to a battery powered radio, and reading by flashlight. Which actually wasn't that bad if it hadn't been for the heat! I normally sleep with a fan on, both for the noise and the cool air on my face feels good, so my sleep cycle has been terrible! I hardly slept at all on Tuesday and finally fell asleep around 1 this morning lying on my living room floor in my underwear cause it was too hot in my bedroom! When the power came back on at 3 I woke up just long enough to turn my fan on high and crawl into bed to get a few more hours of sleep (I get up at 530 every morning). So this moose is a little sleepy today! But I'm doing good nonetheless! The weather has cooled a little this morning and I will go shopping later to replace all the food I had to throw away! It should be a good day!

Hopefully this journal wasn't too much of a bummer. Just wanted to explain where I've been the past few days and share a little of my life with you all!
