how absurd does the fight against covid have to get before your nation decides to push back against those making these nonsensical decisions? of all the nations on Earth...Australia (Oceania as a whole really) is probably the worst in terms of coronasteria. its cold comfort for those who are facing similarly absurd and authoritarian mandates in Europe & America, being fed narratives that are not allowed to be questioned (lest the Department of Homeland Security consider you a terrorist threat) or even debated in a scientific setting among medical professionals, among a laundry list of other atrocities that are overshadowing the virus itself...
its nice living in a world where the Taliban can speak freely on twitter, yet if you say you dont want to get the covid vaccine, you'll get banned and silenced and told "you're the fucking problem" by talking heads on late night talk shows...as if they are somehow the so called "experts" we constantly keep hearing about in the news every day. its nice knowing people are now afraid to express themselves if it goes against the covid narrative (whether its true or not)
the rest of the world might be suffering from the hands of cronasteria-based authoritarianism too...but Oceania is an entirely different animal, and i weep for you
perhaps now that America gave Afghanistan to the Taliban, all those troops can go down under and liberate Australia :P
but whatevs, just thinking aloud here and probably not making much sense, i dont expect this journal to remain up for long anyway...go back to your drinks...just make sure you suck them through your surgical masks

Me personally, I don't trust the vaccine. Now look, don't get me wrong here, I am NOT one of those nutcase anti-vaxxers.. However, this one just doesn't sit right, somehow. From what I hear, it's not even FDA approved. ??? And you want me to inject that into my body?? UHHHHH....

i dont trust it either, and also would not classify myself as anti-vax XD but im sorry, i dont think this new mRNA thing is proven yet, and like you said none are FDA approved, and people are still getting covid regardless (despite what CNN says). plus we all still have to do the same hygiene theater we did last year despite getting the shot, so there is no point anymore (which is why they're just forcing people to get it now, and comically reciting "its not a mandate" as they force people to get medicine they dont want just to remain employed) my body my choice...i dont need to be made out to be the bad guy just cuz i dont want to take an experimental vaccine just to live as a free human being...history is not going to remember the people pushing for crap like this kindly. i would get a covid shot only if the shot contained some form of the virus (instead of mRNA shit) and was FDA approved. if the "experts" can put a vaccine like that out, i will gladly take it and get my gestapo papers
at this point, it'll end as soon as people want it to end. covid is going to be around forever now, and living like livestock while our leaders fly around in private jets and hold massive parties without demanding people wear masks or show vaccine passports like the rest of us peasants is not a viable way to move forward. i'd rather die of covid than live like a head of cattle

And for what it's worth, me, my mother and my boss (I'm a "personal care assistant" for a family member, so evidently in healthcare) were all discussing it. She was completely asymptomatic when she had it, people who got the vaccine still get it anyway, my mother STILL has a knot on her arm from where she got the shot m o n t h s ago... Plenty other people I'm certain are likely asymptomatic and none the wiser... *Edit: mom also got pretty sick from that shot, for a while, there...

Heck man, for all I know, I could've done had it, already. What I DO know is it isn't being required here (another thing we talked about). From the sound of it, nobody should be able to be forced to, but apparently, that's a thing.

plus all the people who got blood clots and shit, there is plenty of information out there about the deaths from negative vaccine reactions, or long term side effects that sound worse to me than the long-covid symptoms...idk, its a risk you take getting any vaccine, but that risk should be one voluntarily made, not forced D= now im hearing about people on the list for receiving organ donations having their names removed cuz they cant get the shot (due to their bodies not functioning properly from organ failure) its just unbelievable how unethical the covid vaccine rollout has been, and the biggest red flag of all is how you cant even sue the pharmaceutical companies that developed the vaccines for 5 years after getting the shot D=
i hope to god history remembers how unethical this all is >.<
honestly the very people who are pulling the strings will eventually perish in fire and brimstone
what worries me even more are when average people, the "peasants" from the Oligarch's perspective, dont stand up to this authoritarianism or even question it...making excuses as to why its acceptable to have their constitutional rights deprived from them. this breaking of the people's spirit is what worries me the most...cuz if everybody got on the same page and said "fuck you we arent going to be your cattle!" we could overthrow these tyrants...but that never seems to happen. when people are oppressed to the point of violence, having a media that re-defines what terrorism is to fit the definition of civil disobedience is a convenient way to demonize anybody who might lash out at their oppressors..so as a result, nobody wants to be responsible for giving the leftists their vindication (despite the leftists being the ones responsible for the problem in the first place)
one can only hope these animals will perish in fire and brimstone...but realistically people like us will be the ones who end up perishing cuz we keep letting ourselves get silenced. unless we stand up for civilization and push back against this descent into global authoritarianism thats what will happen to those of us who support individual liberty
BTW im disappointed nobody living in Australia has commented here yet, surly there are Aussies out there who are in a state of discontent with their country's covid response
i dont think any country has made all the right decisions regarding covid...the ones that didnt force mandates, lockdowns, etc...on their population are probably the better ones but yeah...EVERY country mandated something...every country dabbled with lockdowns...but mainly cuz thats what China did, and we must copy whatever China does cuz they're the model for civilization itself in the 21st century
and it is very likely with all spiked sick in united states , india and few other countries that eventually (sooner or later , id say sooner) we will get strain resistant to 1 , 2 , or more vaccines
and then new reserch will need to be done , new vacine developed , and whole "process of vaccination before your country turns into millions of sick"
what scares me the most is pandemic is mostly over , and covid19 became endemic. , like flu.
what scares me the most is not government response , but it becoming "second flu" , disease who will linger for years before we immunize and vaccinate everyone. wile sick , people with lingering health effects , and dead will keep going up.
in my close family i have 2 dead relatives from covid19 and 1 who has long lasting health effect (breath problems)
if the world can get its head on straight and stop with the coronasteria, i think the future of covid will be lumped in with the yearly flu shots, kinda like what you said...except with all the tyrannical policies passed under emergency authorization going away so people can live their own lives in a free society rather than in medical authoritarianism
my guess is masks are going to be common sights in the general public like they were in Asia prior to 2020, even if they arent required. ideally covid vaccines/vaccine passports wont be forced, but recommended, and a general "you do you" attitude (with recommendations of course, like cold/flu season) will develop once cases/deaths drop to levels that would be considered on par with an endemic virus like the flu...and we can all look back and marvel at how crazy we were in the early part of the 2020s
but thats probably just me being naive ^^;
we still not yet know how the virus will evolve , people who are vacinated can get minor side effects and long lasting health problems but ratio is much lower
thing is it will be never like flu , and young cant be exacly vacinated like adults , and quite few people cant be vacinated at all due "health problems" , flu has quite low complication rate and mortality rate , covid has insane complication rate and 4.7% mortality rate
calling it coronasteria is very rude , if not goverment restriction i would lose more family then just 2 , maybe i would be dead as well or you.
as for "getting streight" thats not going to happen anytime soon , not at current rise of infected as well high risk of it becoming immune to current vacines
im not sure if you know how vacines work , most current (older) vacines who has much higher complication rates fully immunize you to virus , from protains to lowest level immunity as it utilises entire immune system
current covid vacines use 15% of our immune system , and only focus on protain , and we know many diseses who can cheat , hide or false flag that part of immune system , hiv does this , flue also does this as well quite few other diseses
and its not unresonable to think that before year ends or next year new strain will be resistant to vacine , dont be paranoid but wash your hands , vacinate your family and treat this with respect , many people died and still die becouse they think pandemic is over or neglect it.
