The best way to not die from covid is. Be healthy. Exercise and eat well. Feeling that you are healthy doesn't make you a healthy person. Not having diseases doesn't make you a healthy person. If you are for or against the vaccine, it doesn't matter much. If you take care of yourself you will reduce the risk of covid and vaccine by a huge margin.

Mortality caused by vaccines is way lower than from covid from what I know. The vaccine how much you will spread covid if you get it but doesn't make you immune. It makes the secondary defences of your immune system way stronger wich mean that you have way more chance of having adverse effect from covid but there's still a time gap where you could spread it which means you have to be careful around people that were not vaccinated and unhealthy.

Who's forcing you to take it? It's still an experimental drug that has not been fully approved. Bothe the disease and the vaccine share a risk, but even a vaccinated person can spread covid, and with that it goes to show that the only thing the vaccine really does is to help prevent hospitalization.

So if your argument is to get the vaccine so you don't spread it then you're clearly not keeping up with the news. Even the FDA warned about the blood clotting risk.

Until the FDA finally fully approves the drug or the vaccine actually works better than it does to prevent spread then there is no reason for you to be a fucking twat on this journal.

Your right, I just have a problem with people peer pressuring others into taking an unapproved vaccine, then get hostile to anyone who speaks out against those who have family who suffered from a vax that they push onto others. If you want to get the vax that is fine, I have no problem with those who do, we need people to test it after all, but I don't take kindly to anyone who call people anti vaxxers because they are skeptical (for good reason) over this one drug. I'm fully vaxxed in all other vaccines that have been on the market for ages now, but im tired of people who mindlessly push others to take a drug that even the FDA has put warnings out for, warnings that I've witnessed get censored off YouTube ( a video that got reinstated later but the fact that it was censored in the first place was asinine as it literally was just showing the FDA warning to the public about this exact issue regarding blood clotting)

To make matters worse, the people who cry anti vax scum won't even acknowledge evidence that should be questioned, they just scream at the skeptical. So yes I'm a little on edge about the topic. I don't read any anger in his message, only sadness from his grandmother who passed away and saying to people to make search and make their own opinions. You on the other hand seem quite upset. I've had the misfortune of talking to the guy and am kind of sick of his "woe is me the world is so cruel to me" routine that has been going on for months from one thing to another. He's also been the type to downplay the severity of the pandemic since the start. So let's just say I'm past my limit for him pulling the pity card, even if I know he's not actively trying to play people.

One of the problems is that there's information everywhere that can fuel both sides of the argument with mostly no easy way to prove one side has the right fact leaving people to use their morals, judgment and belief to guide them which is biased to the core. Add to that personal tragedy, on both sides again, that will also fuel that bias. It's a new world concept that is evolving constantly and hard to grasp. Not the concept of the pandemic itself but all that goes around it mixed with the political climate and all kind of shiny shit.

I don't blame you for being angry and can see how what you said can lead you to be on edge. I don't know your past experience with Cartage so I can't really have any well-founded judgment. I personally speak with him from time to time but never about that subject and so far I would say I only had good interaction with the guy and never heard him pull out the routine you described so you and me don't really share the same pov on him. That doesn't mean that one of our pov is wrong or right. Just that different experiences can lead to different opinions. (but don't tell anyone, that's our secret ;3)
