Weekend streams ahead; MSU1 Tutorial & Post Birthday
4 years ago
Just getting some groundwork ready for future streams planned;
During the Ending Or Bust/Konami stream last weekend I was inquired about how I made my custom MSU1 tracks for Zelda; A Link To The Past Randomizers, and this was something I was considering answering in long form for awhile anyway. At the beginning of next week's stream then I'll be giving a brief overview of what's involved in making a custom PCM track; I'll cover all of the steps post vetting your track including finding necessary data from your sourced audio tracks, to building the script needed for conversion. I might not get into as much nitty-gritty as most other tutorials out there, and I certainly recommend looking for those if you wish to get serious about it, but I hope to at least provide a springboard to those willing to put the effort in.
This will naturally be followed by a randomized Zelda LttP run.
The following week the stream will be the day after my birthday, so I'm going to stream whatever the hell I want. In this case I'm not promising QUALITY content per say, rather something just personal to me. We'll be looking at an obscure little cart known as the Maxivision 15, a complation of (funnily enough) 15 games from a swath of smaller NES developers, with some games being more infamous than others.
Here's to hoping to see you guys this weekend and next week! Stream start time will likely be 2-3 PM CST this Saturday
