Checking in and asking for help for Louisiana
4 years ago
From the Box of the Kittybird:
Well.
Hey guys, I know its been a while since Ive written a journal, sorry bout that.
After Hurricane Ida, I know some people have been reaching out to us (: iconDerpDraggy: and I ) as we were in her path in Louisiana and I would like to take this chance to reassure people, we are fine, well and safe.
We got lucky that, she more or less swung by.
Sadly for some of our friends in the same city she was more forceful and are having to deal with the after math now.
Then there are people further South to us.....Well...They were not so lucky as us.
So Im here to ask you for help.
Not for me.
But for the people who have lost everything.
There are people less than 20-30 miles away from us, who had to be rescued from their roofs.
More or less half the state has no power.
Some towns may never fully recover.
If you can....Help.
Donate.
Volunteer.
Do what you can.

These are just some suggestions, but you can also donate blood and so many funds and operations that need help.
Louisiana is hurting.
