- Safe animations without explicit contents so more users are comfortable watching it
- Availability to open up more, minors could see SFW contents safety
- Opens up more possibilities of ideas for any arts or animations

Seems true.

A case could be made for both. NSFW can express some themes and ideas that SFW can't, but at the same time specific NSFW kinks are so varried and numerous that it's hard not to alienate some part of the audience. I think it comes down to variety without limiting yourself to one type. That's just my opinion ofcourse.
