People who do this, especially for their own profit really annoys the crap outta me, anyone else agree?

Like, anyone could just make a copy of the species with minor differences, call it something else and get away with it. Making adopts for a species you made and doing customs I have no problem with. It's closing them off to the liberty of others that really irks me.
