I'm actually feeling better at this moment than I have in the last week. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to have infusion therapy which is supposed to make me feel even better. I certainly do look forward to that. I hate feeling sick.

Thanks. I believe I'm starting to get over it but, I've got to do the infusion therapy tomorrow which should make me feel even better. At least I don't have the migraine headache any longer and I was finally able to eat something and not waste over half of it.

Waited too long to get the Vax.

Yeah. The side effects had me a bit worried. The funny thing is that I was going to call my doctor to set up the vaccine appointment when I caught it.

There is only one side effect to getting vaccinated.

Not catching this shit.

I got my shots back in March.
The only side effects I had was my arm was a bit tender that night where I got jabbed.

Because the side effects of the vaccine are worse than catching a disease that has already killed millions?

Well, at the time, one of the side effects was dying. Being the sole person to take care of my mother, I had to take that into account when weighing the options about the vaccine. As I followed the stories about the vaccine and potential side effects, I noticed that dying was becoming less and less commented on. That's when I decided to get the vaccine. Unfortunately, CoVID said, "Well, you're just gonna have to wait."

Did you look at the numbers? Did you see what percentage of the vaccinated population was having serious or fatal side effects? Real the truth, here (HealthLine is nonpolitical and they're not trying to sell anybody anything).

You were a sole caregiver for an elderly person and you were still unvaccinated? Three words: shame on you!

Oh, trust me. I do regret not getting the vaccine sooner but, I will get it ASAP.

I suppose the bright side of it is that since you haven't gotten the vaccine yet, it probably means you are not part of either of the high-risk groups, meaning you'll most likely be fine either way afterwards. And once that happens, you also have achived immunity - which is a good thing.

That said, I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks. I don't know if I'm high risk or not (I'm only 66 and fairly active) but I do know that I don't wish this crap on anybody, even the people who released it. I'll be going through infusion therapy in a couple of hours that should alleviate a lot of the troubles I'm experiencing. I will be setting up my appointment for the vaccine as soon as possible, though. The doctor told me that I'll have to wait about 2 and a half months before I can get the vaccine but, I'll have temporary immunity until then.

Heh.. now that is a surprise to me. I wouldn't have thought you to be 66 - a little over half that perhaps, but either way I wish you best of luck for your recovery. Being active should count for something at least.

Yeah. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to remind myself that I really am that old. The bad thing about the CoVID is I have absolutely NO appetite. I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat. Maybe I'll be able to eat something soon.

mhm.. I knew about it causing loss of sense of taste, but appetite in general? That one is news to me. Oh well.. nasty bugger must have mutated some more since last I looked int the symptoms.. *shrugs*

It could have been the migraine headache that caused my loss of appetite. When I get a migraine, nothing, and I do mean NOTHING tastes good and the thought of eating puts my stomach into a tailspin. I force myself to eat a little to maintain a little strength. In fact, earlier today, it took me two meals to finish eating what I normally eat in 1/2 a meal. But, I do feel better for forcing myself to eat something, though.

Mhm.. I hear you. When I get my migraine, I always end up with a bit of a lottery in terms of side-effects. Basically it is random what kind of side effects I get every single time - which can range from mild things such as hypersensitivity to light and sound, or even no side-effects at all - all the way to the entire laundry list including vertigo, stomach issies and all that stuff - at the same time.

And to make matters worse, some issue with my neck can also occasionally trigger my migraine-headache - which in turn can - if left unchecled - grow into a full-on migraine. Fun times... ...not.

Ouch! I don't envy you even a little bit. I used to get migraines regularly (mostly congenital) but, over the last 30+ years I only get them when I'm physically ill, i.e. CoVID. But, if I force myself to eat something even a bite or two, the migraine eases even if it doesn't go completely away. After having the infusion therapy done yesterday, I've been slowly getting better. So, hopefully, that's a good sign.

Thanks. I'm starting to feel better, although I still don't feel like taking my dirty clothes and washing them. (I REALLY need to wash them so I can wash myself. LOL.) I've also got a bit of a dry cough but, I'm not nearly as sleepy all the time. So, I must be getting better. Unfortunately, I found out today that my mom has CoVID but she got into infusion therapy right away which is fantastic to me. At least, she won't be as likely to get overly sick because of it.
