Twitter sure is a place.

I am so tired of watching people in the furry community be disgusting to others out of some moral high-ground justification. All I see on Twitter are people viciously attacking others for innocuous matters, attacking allies for not allying "correctly" and even going after each other. There are so many major issues that could be brought to light. I remember when people on here went after actual abusers and scammers, and people bragging about doing illegal violent shit, now it seems the trend is to chase phantom fascists, edgy jokes, and even constructive criticism. Every day I feel like am constantly being reminded why I want to distance myself from this community. I remember joining almost a decade ago and it being a safe haven of acceptance, but now it seems vile.

Second of all, it's the furry community.
One is only good for porn. The other is also only good for porn.
And a good chunk of the people doing that are the ones that used to be the abusers, scammers and violent criminals.
Drama and shitposting are nothing new. Not to Twitter, not to FurAffinity, not to the Internet as a whole. It just seems like there's a lot more drama queens because the shitposters are now masquerading as them.
Four to five years ago, F.A. saw a surge of shitposters, each and every one of which was eventually identified and squealed the usual bullshit about freedom of speech and persecution of opinion as their accounts were suspended. And ever since then, they've all been trying to get back onto F.A. and "get revenge" on the rest of us by playing cancel culture warriors pretending to get their knickers in a twist over every single thing their tiny diseased brains are capable of comprehending.
Twitter is no different. The giant orange turd got permanently banned for repeatedly refusing to follow the ToS, so now his hellspawn army are trying to prove bias by squealing their lungs out about "bias" every time they find anything that can be twisted and misinterpreted into being even one tenth as atrocious as the horrible shit they used to post every hour on the hour.
And on both Twitter and F.A., the solution is the same. It's called the "Block" option. Use that and whenever they try to scream at you they'll just be doing it into the void (and, in the case of F.A., opening themselves up to a suspension for attempted block evasion in the process).
