tl;dr
whilst my fa hiatus, I had so much psychotherapy that I'm back and we can talk and I have a patreon now 💪😤🤟
Hi there pals!
I want to introduce myself a little and talk about my experience here so far.
My name is Charlie.
I’m queer, pansexual, love my girlfriend, our three dogs and a cat.
I love drawing for people — the dialog between us and how happy people are because of it.
I was in therapy for thee years already and recently it started to pay off —
I work as an illustrator and motion designer in a digital agency. But because of the therapy I realized that I don’t like it — all this years I was keeping my artistic dreams on a shelf, thinking that my dreams are too much for me and I will never be good enough for them. And then it hit me — boom! Most of my years I wanted to animate. Not motion-design, but classic 2D.
⭐️And I joined a course, it starts in October!!
Instagram is a source of only pain and suffering. Race for algorithms and peoples attention exhausted me. Comparing myself to others, looking up to popular art accounts that were all looking the same also gave sorrow. I feel like I had enough.
⭐️ I need to learn and I will learn to love my art myself!
I get back to furaffinity, and with a handful of pictures and a shoutout of a friend I gain years worth of instagram feedback in just a couple of days... How sweet and lovely you all are, reading this and even saying my kindness words! This feel of community I didn't have for so long. Thank YOU!

This warmth of course gives me ideas — quitting my job would be nice 😅
Drawing hot furries for real people instead of doing graphics for websites which no one goes for.
I'm hoping to grow into a big furry artist to change my career. And I hope soon enough to bring here my animations for you 😳
With me starting an animation school I made myself a patreon! There is tips that I find helpful, my sketches and practice pics. It's like a little learning ground for animation/illustration appreciationists — you can support me there to give me a little more motivation 😖🌸
Overall. I’m really enjoying it here so far. So many different people, so many different styles and so much freedom in art and desires. It’s wonderful.
