There's a lot of this going around lately. Be especially careful if you get random notes from artists you think you recognize offering you slots randomly.

Yeah they just sent me a note about an auction from 3 years ago. Reported it to FA, gonna see if paypal will shut down their account too.

This seems to be a recurring trend - but thankfully with how broke I get often I won’t have to fear that xD

Not a trend as it's one person, but we're working on it and I'm personally eaching out to anyone who may have provided their contact information to the person. Thankfully, most people seem to have recognized that it's a scam. =3
