Ratten Reich. A RTS/FPS Dieselpunk Game, With Rats

As said on their Kickstarter page, "Step into this alternative dieselpunk universe in which a real-time strategy war is fought between anthropomorphic creatures". In a nutshell, Redwall with a WWI-WWII theme.
What they have so far looks like it has potential, but there are two problems with this. For starters, when it comes to kickstarters, they're usually a hit or miss as we've seen some of them in the past. The second and this is a harsh truth about RTS games in this day and age, the RTS genre is kinda dead. Not sounding like a pessimist, there are long term RTS fans, some developers are making RTS games, and the developers of the game wanted to make a good RTS game, which that's a bold choice.
But back to the game. The game plans on implementing unit customization, such as customizing a medium tank to have more armour and firepower. Ratten Reich will not be for the faintest of hearts due to being a war game, so expect blood, gore, and horrors of war. You have six factions to play as, ranging from the Ratten Reich (German Rats), Free Mouse Republic (French and Anglo Mice), CAR (Russian Cockroaches), Red Dragon (Chinese Monitor Lizards), and the Sun Empire (Japanese Agama Lizards), I'm not making this up. The combat looks similar as seen in Company of Heroes and Men of War. Also they're planning to add an FPS mode in the game, I've watched the teaser of the FPS mode and it looks like Battlefield 1, but with anthropomorphic rats and mice.
As of now that I'm writing this journal, the game has been fully funded. But there's other additions if the game receives more funding. Such as Skirmish game mode, console releases, modding support, and multiplayer.

Then they abandoned it after rushing it out the door when it began to faulter thanks to these moves.
So.... yeah.... can't say I'm eager... I like RTS but its been bitten by the E-sports disease with 'fast pace game play' being a must because peoples attention spans don't go past 5-10 min these days.
