It has been a whole ass year since I reminded everyone

Long story short

I realized that I haven't been honest to myself as well as rushing things just because of "thoughts".
I really thought that looking for my very first full-time job away from this was going to help me out but after 3 days of stress, anxiousness and depression because of that job in particular. It wasn't being fair to me as well as putting a lot of work on someone who is working minimum wage and what's worse, there are no raises, no work conditions, or something to make it easier on me so, I had to leave.

But now, I want to come back to this and try my luck again with commission work and maybe, something part-time.

and now!, I'll start drawing again!

PS: I have to be honest, I am feeling very happy but also bummed on and somewhat scared from all this so I am going to try to look forward.

Long story short, I kind of went crazy and had to deal with intrusive thoughts and irrational fears, all because of my lack of care (lol), lockdown and covid sucks, and doing things like not getting enough exercise, eating junk food, lack of sleep, isolation and constant stress/anxiety because of college and art can really mess someone up.
I have been taking care of myself as well as getting support from my parents, therapy has also helped me out and I couldn’t be happy that I can feel ‘normal’ again, I still have my relapses here and there but now I am able to do some things (like going back to the gym and drawing).
Please take care of your mental health.

On the good news
- I graduated (yay, still sorting out the future)
- Bought a drawing pen monitor
- Lesly is now thicker because why not (lol)
- Rebranded (I wanted to do things in a personal way)
- ^ because of that, expect to hear my voice on discord from now on
- I’ll check twitter and rp accounts from time to time

Might as well update it

I am on my last uni semester so that only means things are going to get hectic. If you are thinking about asking for a commission then I will let you know that I will be extra slow than usual lol

So as you can see, I dissappeared from both twitter and FA for a month and that is because I have been reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallly busy with this college semester. I still have 16 more days of tough work to do but I'll be back with a banger!, something you guys are going to love ( I might have loosed attention to my FA page and twitter but I like to grind lol! )

There are some big changes incoming for my commissions, I think most would know what I mean with this xD but yes, there is going to be a minimal price raise.

Most know I have been using the same price sheet for about 5 years already and almost reaching 200 commissions done with those same prices.

My art has gone a long way since the very first commission I did for  KAIJUfreak and many people have been telling me to up the prices and to be honest. It has gotten to a point where it takes far more work to draw something xD, not to mention that I have been more 'professional' through the process of working on commissions.

So yeah that is pretty much it. College has taught me some things to calculate costs and price ranges sooooooo I am going to try that out.

Weeks ago, a friend of mine told me about people saying stuff like "Yo this bimbo character is better than Lesly"

This ain't no shitty bimbo/slutty character contest. People are free to like any characters but don't make this some stupid rivalry between characters. This used to happen a few years ago back when slutty/bimbo femboys were a thing. People making a contest to see who was the better character... and now they are gone.

Stop it. Lesly wasn't made to compete or be the best character. Any bimbo character is always welcome

I decided to add extra stages to my commissions for a better commission process

1. WIP sketch: badly drawn but representing the base idea (changes are accepted)
2. NEW Lines: Fixed/almost final drawing (changes are STILL accepted in this stage)

MAYBE 3. Coloring: if the reference isn't clear, then his stage is needed

And as usual, last moment/after posting mini changes are free of charge :), these 3 stages may vary depending a Lines/Flat colored/ shaded commissions but they are overall the same

Guys, do you guys really like my style? do you guys really like how I draw Lesly? or am I just being lied to?, I feel like I have done many bad choices :( it sucks

this last collab was done for fun since  diorth wanted me to draw something for him

but this collab was mostly done in his style and not mine at all and it just feels like the ol mobian look was the one doing more impact now :( and it just makes me feel incredibly stupid

12 hour later update: Thanks everyone for your kind comments!, yeah I guess I should just draw for myself rather than for others. To be honest, I like my current style and I am not going to change it all, instead, I want to keep improving it so Lesly looks more natural and expressive in the future

I had this thought for quite some time. I feel like Lesly doesn’t really belong to the mobian community. Ever since AuntyMoira (Becky) came back to the mobian scene it made it more noticeable (due to most mobians come from Inkbunny and DeviantArt), mobian characters are cutesy, stylish, sexy (normal way) and they blend quite well but they also have this tendency to trash/troll trashy characters. I know some fellow mobian friends don’t have the same thoughts but there have been moments were ex-mobian-friends just stopped talking to me because of my character Lesly, which is understandable, not to mention the ‘memes’ against trashy characters.

I have no problem with the big mobian artists. They are all good people and I love AuntyMoira and Zeta!, been following them for many many years that I feel like Becky and Zeta are the faces for the mobian community. (along with others!)

But yeah, as for Lesly, If I end up moving on then that means removing the mobian muzzle on Lesly and making it more furry/anime styled but that’s it, other than moving on from Lesly the wolf to Lesly Wolfess (like some kind of last name lol).

She will keep everything, from body figure to personality and main outfit, even the same muzzle color (closest example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16578018/ )

I feel like the furry community is far more welcoming and less in your face, due to the big amount of freaks lol, I also love how trashy characters are pretty much welcome, 2 of my favorites are Marika from  TeeR and Katrina from  GalacticMichi

Even most of my friends are into the furry community and some already moved on from the mobian-community and there is also some of my mobian friends thinking about moving on as well.

But this is all a mere thought. There is still this small project with  Moralde10 and also all the fanart that has been accumulating through the years and my stuff and the watchers.

So, I don’t know lol, any comments for your buddy -jackpot-?


UPDATE1: Thanks everyone for your comments c: they really matter a lot to me!, I am still thinking about it and slowwwly getting an answer that could work out!, if anything, I will keep updating this journal

UPDATE2: I have been getting some amazing feedback!, but I am aware people aren't that used to it yet!, might as well draw some more lesly and more mobians in that style to see how it goes!, thanks everyone!!
