Explanation For My Absence
Posted 2 years agoHi everyone, it's been a long time. 2023 was a horrible year for me.
In my last journal I vaguely alluded to my displacement as far as a place to live went. The TL;DR of my situation went as such: I was living on my parent's property in their guest house and they ended up getting foreclosed on. After several months of fighting to keep their home, I ultimately got tired of the anxiety and ended up moving. There was plenty of familial drama happening in the background as well, it was exhausting. Shortly after moving, my fiance's car ended up breaking down and got broken into, it was destroyed to the point of no return and we have been left without a car for the past 3 months or so. It's been rough, but despite it all the artistic spark finally struck me again. I'm not sure how long this will last, but I'll be sure to finish my commission queue before it goes away.
Thank you everyone for your patience, here's to surviving another year! 🥂

Life update, Notice for commissioners!
Posted 2 years agoWhew, what's the saying? Ain't no rest for the wicked? Without getting into too much detail, there were significant issues concerning my place of residence. Whether we would be fined or kicked out but now it seems that troubles are behind us (for now, fingers crossed!!) The stress really knocked me on my ass. >w< Major apologies for my absence, commissions will be back on track shortly!
Good News, Commissioners!
Posted 2 years agoAfter almost two weeks, my power is back!! I'll be proceeding with commissions tonight! Thank you all so much for your patience through this rough time! Hopefully it's the worst 2023 has in store 😅
!!Attention Commissioners!!
Posted 2 years agoHi, guys! Little problem at the moment. There have been high winds in my area, and I happen to live around a lot of trees. So, given my luck, this of course means that one came down and completely smashed the hell out of my meter box! I've been without power for about 4 days now. I do have a system that allows me to have electricity. Enough to keep my bedroom heated and lit and I can be on my computer for short amounts of time, but this has put a pin in some commissions. I should have my power back within the next three days! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience! I'll be working on commissions when I can.
Commissions Closed Indefinitely
Posted 3 years agoHey, everyone! Great news and bad news depending on perspective I suppose!
I got another job! Well, it's more of a side hustle but it further pushes me in the direction of my career path so unfortunately, I don't exactly need to open commissions anymore. At least, not at this moment in time!
Honestly, it was quite stressful on top of my responsibilities, I'm kinda ready to just have time for my own projects and drawing what I want for a change, not that I don't love doing commissions but it's nice to just be able to engage in my hobby without having to monetize it. I've never wanted to be a full-time professional artist, anyhow.
If you're a regular commissioner, you're more than welcome to come and ask if you have an idea and I just might take it! But please give me a month or so after this journal goes up. :)
I can't wait to vomit my brain stuff all over this page! I too hope you all are excited to see what I come up with. <3
Please take care, all of you. I wouldn't have been able to make it through 2021 without you!!

Happy New Years! Reflections and Projections!
Posted 4 years agoHi everyone!! Happy New Year! I hope 2021 treated you kindly, and I hope 2022 treats you even better!
2021 was a fantastic year for me, outside of a few personal issues, I think I had a great year! I finally got out of retail and on course of doing what I've always dreamed of. Working with dogs! I currently work at a doggy daycare, and setting up to start dog training courses so that I may one day be able to train service dogs! I'm so happy about this development because not only am I doing what I love, I have much more time and energy to draw!! Which I also love to do!
In 2021 I rediscovered my love for drawing. I always liked drawing, but due to several stressors, was unable to muster the mental energy required to sit there and put pen to paper.
Part of this is because of the debt I was in to commissioners. I have no intentions to hide that at one point I owed out around $750 to several people for about 2 years due to biting off more than I could chew combined with a tumultuous home life and not being able to afford to refund them. Frankly, I'm surprised there's not an Artist Beware somewhere out there on me because I honestly felt like I deserved it. The stress weighed on me heavily and not a day went by where I wasn't thinking about how I would pay these people back. I must admit for complete transparency, that I did think about deleting my account and running but I like to think I was raised better than that. In 2020, when the US received our stimulus checks it was heaven sent. The very first thing I did when that money hit my account was pay every single person I owed back, which I know sounds pathetic but I'm kind of a broke bitch. I'm much more stable financially now, not by much but a lot more than I was back then. I'm very thankful for everyone who's stuck with me through that whole period.
2020 sucked. I spent a lot of that year RPing pokemon swsh characters on some hole in the wall myspace copycat webbed site lmfao. Not much drawing to be done, even if I could somehow gather the mental energy to be creative, it wasn't much and it was kinda crappy.
But hoo boy, 2021 I went a little nuts. I'm not sure what lit the flame under my ass but I got to WORK. Personal projects, commissions and several, SEVERAL unfinished pieces that may or may not ever see the light of day. I've become kinder to myself in terms of art. I'm no longer holding it to some ridiculous standard in my head and even found fondness for older pieces that I once hated. It's made drawing much more fun and it's exciting whenever I start a new project!
I owe a lot to those who have commissioned me this last year! You've all been so pleasant to work with, and I hope we can collaborate more in the future!
Now, for 2022!
First of all, if things keep going the way they are, I'll be reaching 500 followers this year! Which isn't a lot nowadays but is outrageous for me to think about! I've never had a following come even close to this! Wow! Thank you all so much!!
As for art:
I have a few bigger scale projects in the works! I don't want to say too much as I don't want to jinx myself, but I hope to have a few art sets done this year. I also want to start somewhere with visual storytelling. I have a couple of things in mind, some sfw some more nsfw but I think if I get anything out this year, it will probably be something smaller scale. If you're interested in my strictly sfw pieces, please feel free to follow my tumblr: itsozzybby ! I currently don't wish to post to twitter but I am considering insta. I'm also hoping to dabble in animation a bit more as I loved it when I did it a few years ago.
As for commissions:
I hope to have my Carrd up and running sometime in the next few months! With it, some price raises, but also several styles to choose from!
Commission types I'll be offering:
Sketches: The same as they are now tbh. A very slightly higher price than now but still my most affordable option.
Wing its: These will be the more affordable option for a fully realized piece, drawn in a style as I see fit. Kinda like what I do now, but with fewer updates. There will be 2 initial updates, being the sketch and the line work. And more updates if I need to ask something.
Watercolor-esque? Idk what to call these lol: Lined with a sumi brush, colored with a watercolor brush. Shading and colors are a little looser, the subject looks much more simple. A soft, more natural looking and affordable piece such as [ 1 ] [ 2 ]
Hard/Soft shading: My more "normal" style such as : [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
Painterly: Slightly more expensive than hard/soft shading but right what it says on the tag. A much more painterly looking piece such as: [ 1 ]
Stippled shading: On the higher end of the spectrum, still working on current examples but here are a few older ones: [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
Small scale comics: No more than 4-5 panels, 2 panels are included in the initial price and will be charged per panel after.
Papercraft: On the higher end of the spectrum, a lot of time and RAM are poured into these pieces but the outcome is so, so worth it: [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
Whew! Welp, that's about all she wrote! Thanks again everyone for all the support! Stay safe out there fur friends!

Dear Commissioners **Important Update**
Posted 4 years agoHey all! So I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.
I completely underestimated how busy I would be at this time, so I probably won't be able to meet that 4 week deadline. I'm just now finishing up the first piece. So I'm going to go ahead and extend it to before christmas at the latest for everything to be finished. If your piece isn't completed before December 25th, I'll offer you a refund and provide you with a date that I can refund you by if you choose to go that route!
Thank every one of you for your patience and understanding!

Physical Copies, Prints, stickers and more
Posted 4 years agoSo, we got a full color printer/scanner! I'm super excited about this! Not only does this mean I'll be able to share more traditional art with you all!
But also, this means I'll be able to send out prints of commissions to you! For the cost of shipping and an (optional) frame!
There's some testing to do and some special paper to buy but I'm hoping once I figure it all out, I'll be able to extend that as an option for you all!
I'll also offer some original pieces as prints! The prices of those are to be determined, probably not more than $10 though (plus shipping and optional frame)
Also STICKER 👏PACKS 👏
This one is going to take a greater deal of experimentation, I'm not sure when I'll be able to roll those out but once I do I'll hold a raffle for free tester packs. The only thing I'd ask in return is for you to review them for me so I know where I can improve!
This is something I've always wanted to do but didn't have the resources to do, so I'm super excited. I guess my only question for you all is, would this be something you'd be interested in?
