All right, I'm going to be clear here. I don't want there to be this whole thing where money is an issue. However, I need money. I like money. Therefore, I will start taking commissions.

Prices: (All are in USD)
$6.00 for a standard picture (1 or 2 characters, no background)
+ $2.00 for each additional character past 2
+ $0.75 for a basic background, like a simple gradient or line of shading on an otherwise solid background
+ $1.50 for a more detailed background, one where you can tell what's what
$10.00 for a drawing-quality 4koma (I.E. Better than the Quiche 4komas)

I will still be taking free requests; however, they cannot have backgrounds added onto them, or include more than two characters; if all you want is the two characters and none of those frills, you can just request that and save your money. Or you can pay anyway, it's up to you. Paid commissions will be expedited instead of having to wait at the bottom of the list until everything else is done first. Requests that are listed but not yet completed can be paid as commissions, and can have any of the extra options listed above added to them.

Tomorrow morning/Today, I'm moving to the dorms at the University of Northern Colorado, where I will be studying Business and Accounting. Classes begin on Monday, so I'll try to get as much done as I can before then, but I'll probably be expected to "Talk to people" and "Leave the Dorm occasionally," so don't expect a whole lot.
Still, it'll be refreshing to get back to a structured lifestyle. I like to think I tend to get a little more done under these circumstances.

Also, I don't want to bring my expensive computer and Cintiq to the dorm-- At least, not yet-- So I'll be doing my work off of an Intuos 4 tablet and a laptop my grandma gave me (It's not too old, it's got Windows Vista on it.)

I've been thinking of taking something called a "Priority incentive" to work on any fresh or listed request or item from the list right away, since I want money and the list isn't growing any shorter. Or, if you think you could do it better, I challenge you to take on one of the items.

So, the flight got delayed twice (First to around 9:45 PM, then to 11 PM) so my mom and I had to sit there for several hours- Luckily, she was able to talk to some people, and I had my video games. In the end, the flight was cancelled due to inclement weather (Thunderstorms can be used for good) and we were refunded our frequent flyer miles. We got home at 2 AM, my sister let us in the house, and I got to sleep in my own bed.

So... Art is back on again.

Wednesday, December 21: My family opened gifts today. I'd rather not have, but we had been planning this upcoming road trip for too long to put it off now. I feel like I should have given some warning that I'd be going, but whatever. It's too late to change it now.

Thursday, December 22: Figured out how to make Cruise Control work on the car. Thanks, Dad.
Met with Mom's side of the family today. I recognized roughly 70% of the people. Neil's Fish restaurant uses apostrophes on the plurals in some of the Napkin Holder displays.

Friday, December 23: Beginning to feel cut-off without a computer of my own. My sister is letting me use her new Macbook to go on the internet. Good news for you Rubber-Type fans, though: I've begun writing Rubber-Type Seduction. I can't reveal any important details, but the guy who gets seduced becomes a raccoon Rubber-Type, and he has an Emo flip hairstyle.

Saturday, December 24: Dammit. I should've written a journal concerning today while it was still fresh in my mind. Now I can't remember what I was going to write about.

Sunday, December 25: Dad snores and hogs the covers. I had to use my four-layer hoodie to keep warm. Had Christmas dinner at gay uncle's house. Their friend speaks with a lithp. Rest of nuclear family spent, like, eight hours talking about nothing. I was able to get onto their computer, also a Macintosh, to check some things. Grandma (Dad's side) gave me a check for a nice amount.

Monday, December 26: Slept in a better bed than the fold-out couch we were in last night and employed earplugs to dampen (not eliminate) Dad's snoring. Stayed in a better hotel with separate rooms and more beds that night.

Tuesday, December 27: Met with cousin and her mom (Aunt, mom's side) at a coffee shop. They spent an hour catching up (See: Talking about nothing) for an hour. Then went to other Aunt's house for diner, had pulled pork sandwich, finished pork chop from previous day. Received a dollar bill of nice amount from Grandma (Mom's side). Played Portal 2 multiplayer with uncle's stepson. It's not bad. Also drew lots of late sketches because I haven't been able to think of much else

Today (Wednesday, December 28): Had Canadian Turkey Bacon, blueberry muffin, Passion Orange Guava, carton of 2% milk, and glass of diet Pepsi for breakfast (Yes, the hotel had Diet Pepsi in the complimentary breakfast lounge, don't ask me why) for breakfast; pleased to discover that Canadian Turkey Bacon is less BS than American Turkey Bacon. Excited/Relieved to be heading home today.

Later: So good to be back home. SO GOOD.
