Posted 4 years agoSay hello to the Owner of Melody Arts! That's right! I own a business now to draw art commissions!
Now I can prove that I make a good income doing what I love! And it's all THANKS YOU TO GUYS! I couldn't have imagined getting this far with my art career. Now it's a official business! Soon, I will make a website with Art Examples, Commission stuff and more!
Starting next week, payment methods will be changed! I won't be using Paypal anymore when it comes to Art Commissions (I've been hearing some negative things happening with Paypal so I'm steering away from it.) I will probably use Square, Stripe or Wave App to send invoices and recieve payment from now on. I still have one last step to do, and that's to make a business bank account which will be settled on this upcoming Monday! I'm so excited to get this ball rolling! I hope the business will continue to thrive from now til I retire! Again, thank you all so much for your support! Let's make Melody Arts successful!

In Regards to LDU: First Semester Remastered
Posted 4 years agoSo, I have been thinking about it back and forth while working on the comic version.
And for awhile, I didn't know how to proceed with it. The revised story is complete. But I had a tough decision to make.
Continue the comic (which may take me years to even finish by myself) or go back to it's roots and make it a Visual Novel (Which took me about half a year to complete that cringe piece of work, LMAO).
And honestly, I had alot of fun making the visual novel come to life. I did have some help here and there, but I did most of the hard work and I was so proud of myself. I felt like I accomplished something so huge in 2017. The original visual novel of LDU: First Semester is 4 YEARS OLD!! (I would have made an 4th anniversary picture, but in March 2021, I got REALLY sick and couldn't do it.)
And to be honest, I think I'm ready to accept that challenge again.
Let's make an actual visual novel remaster of LDU: First Semester!
As I speak, I am current working on the scripting for the game. It's alot easier since I remember most of the coding and learning new things to work with the story.
So I bet you are wondering...
What is changing for LDU: First Semester Remastered?
-Of course, the art style! It will be consistent all the way. The original had guest art, which was unique and fun. I would consider it again, but I don't wish to burden anyone. Especially during these hard times!
-This will be a new thing that I learned how to script. Certain characters will remember your choices, depending on what you choose. I always wanted to try doing that in the original VN, but I didn't quite get what I was doing wrong since it kept giving me an error. NOW, I know what to do, so now it's possible! :D
- A revised story! Some things are the same, but the plot of the story have been significantly changed. Trust me, it's MUCH better than the original, that's for sure.
Are you doing all the work again like last time?
Most likely, yes. Some of my friends have shown interest of helping me out. As of now, I'm kind of okay. But if I need help thinking of extra scenarios for the VN, I will come to them first.
Are you doing Guest Characters again??
Yes! here are some spaces that need to be filled. They're not major character fillings but you do get to see your character interact with my OCs. Even if it's for a brief scene. So once I write the list down for what I need filled, I will make an announcement for openings.
Will the game be free?
More than likely, yes. HOWEVER, giving support to me via Patreon while I am working on the visual novel gives you future sneak peeks of artwork that will be featured in LDU: First Semester Remastered, early access to the game before it releases to the public and join the Launch Party in the Discord. It really does help me when people support the dream~
