Besides studying for Marketing in college, I have work experience in both digital marketing and traditional. Gonna Build My First Gaming PC
Posted 7 years agoSo, like the heading says, I'm gonna start working on building my first gaming PC ^^
I've been interested in doing this for years now, but never had the financial ability to do so. I do think now though that I can start working on making this come true!
Luckily I'm not going in this totally blind. I've watched several of my friends build their own gaming PCs and have done some research into it. Plus, I've already got some decent background knowledge of what brands to look for in terms of which company to get the parts from.
However, is there any tips or tricks you all have? Any of you built one before? I'd love to know! I'll gladly take any advice before I start down this fun (and expensive) adventure xD

This Birb's Birthday Month!
Posted 8 years agoFinally, it's that time of year, for me that is ;)
Super excited for my birthday on the 28th! While I don't have much planned for what I would do that day, nor have much in mind for gifts and stuff, I am excited in terms of my job search and overall well being. Let's just say I'm very optimistic right now ^^
Well, for now I'll just keep chugging along as usual. But, I'll definitely be counting down the days left ;3

Looking back while moving forward - 2018
Posted 8 years agoFigured this would be a good time to lay it out there how I felt about this past year as well as put forth my goals for 2018.
So, let's start of with the fact that I graduated college! Wowza! How did those 4 years go by so fast?! xD
Those past 4 years were very memorable and a roller coaster ride, that's for sure. But, I am ready to move on now. Though....
It would be easier said than done if it weren't for the fact that just about every company is a huge bastard with their hiring requirements!!! Must have 3+ years experience here, gotta have professional agency experience there, gah! How the hell am I suppose to move on if company's can't even make entry jobs applicable for fresh out of college kids like me? Seriously, the only job luck I've had up to this point is working a "part-time" job at my local grocery store, full...time...
All I hope is once January 1st comes around that i get several emails for job interviews or else I might just lose it!
Anyway, on the furry side, things have been awesome! Honestly, I am so glad to be part of this community. After graduating in April, I ended up having to move back in with my family in Columbus in order to save money. Unfortunately, that meant I left all my friends I had back by my college campus while not having any of my high school friends around in Columbus, so I've honestly felt very lonely and sullen most of the time. In many ways, I didn't even feel like myself a large part of the time.
But, all of you here have helped fill the void that formed from the move. Between getting into random chats, grouping up online, and other random stuff, I've gotten in touch with a lot more people in this community than I did over the past 4 years! Now, I'm pretty good friends/acquaintances with many of you furs out there (like
tofubread, Diablo_En_Musica_92, 
GeoDani, my Trials group, and many more!) Thank you all so much for helping me feel more like myself again. Thank you!
Now, moving into 2018...
The first and biggest goal is to, FIND... A... JOB! Not just any job though. For me, I'm pursuing a marketing position so I can not only make some real $$$, but really start building up my resume and experience. I graduated in business and my passion lies in marketing, so hopefully this year (especially really soon) I will land an entry job that is either in marketing or has a relatively fast upward growth into marketing.
My second goal after getting a job is to start exploring. I mean that in two ways. The first one is everything that's out there. I hope that getting the job will let me start exploring cities and countries I've wanted to visit. I want to try out new things, explore different cultures, and experience life as a whole! Also, I want to get even more closer to this fandom by (hopefully) going to my first fur con! Idk which con I might end up going to, but I do hope to attend one next year! If any of you have any recommendations, please let me know! :D
For my second part, I want to explore more about myself. While it's obvious that I enjoy video games (which I hope to work in that industry someday, but I digress), enjoy traveling, love playing sports, and enjoy time to read, I want to gain a better understanding about myself. That also means I want to start exploring *drum roll*.... my sexuality. It has been a topic that I've pretty much avoided during these past several years just cuz I wanted to focus more on my schooling. Yeah I've got all the art in my gallery I commissioned showing a variety of sexual acts and what not, but I can say I did all that mostly on random fantasies and other reasons. But now, I want to start taking those steps in better understanding what I really like and don't like. So, consider this me saying, "I am curious." This is also why I have gone on a faving rampage because I figured my first step on this journey is I shouldn't hold myself back on faving art that I simply like. Thus, I went through and faved art that I simply liked (so apologies to all those I spammed faves on!)
I hope that I can have all of your support as I begin this journey of self-discovery.
With that, that is Talon's 2017 reflection and 2018 looking forward journal! I hope all of you had a great 2017 and hope you all enjoy this coming year of 2018.
