General | Posted 12 years agoUh so anyway I guess this is gonna be kinda long for me and fairly depressing so just bear with me??? Or if you want you can just like. jump down to the bottom and read the tl;dr.
So I guess some of you noticed my total lack of activity over the past several months. Part of it was college last year it kept me busy and I really had no way to scan and upload my art so most of it ended up posted via crappy cellphone photos on tumblr... But last summer I got some really shitty news that my little sister had kidney cancer and from what the doctors could tell it was already at its terminal stages. So of course this meant I couldn't go back to school in Vermont, too far from home, too hard to get there an come back. So I ended up pulling out of school there to stay with my gallium and go to the community college here and spend most of my weekends with my sister and dad helping out where I could. They tried the chemo., they tried everything really but she wasn't going to get better and we all knew that so around Christmas we went to visit her and she was still looking pretty good considering. We actually had a really great time but anyway this is where things started really going down hill I guess. Right after Christmas we were headed home and I found out that one of my cousins had died (she was quite old tho and we had been expecting it but it was still quite a shock) so the rest of the ride home from MI was tense I say the least. I was glad to get home and be out of the car but the moment we got in I KNEW something was wrong and I was right. my cat Chazzie who we also knew was sick had suddenly gone down hill in the 3 or so days we were gone. He was panting and drooling and bleeding from the mouth and overall he looked awful so we rushed him to the emergency vet and they told us what we already knew. His kidney failure was finally starting to do him in and we were forced to put him down.
Within a week though classes started and you would think the universe would have had the kindness to cut a kid a break but then my little sister ended up passing a way 3 days into my classes on Jan 11.so now a long with college classes my family an I were trying to make funeral perpetration and fortunately all of that went off without a hitch(the service was very nice). But then the following week my dog developed autoimmune anemia and almost died as well luckily she didn't but she did end up needing a blood transfusion and several medications. All this stuff week after week got really tiring for me and ended up making my ADD get really bad (and my mom thinks i might have developed depression) and it pretty much forced me to pull out of my classes this semester to save my GPA. But now that im not in school im no longer receiving allowance which is bad because i suddenly have no money. So uh as usual my commissions are open but it would be really great if you guys would help me out by signal boosting them!! Along with commissions im also gonna try and do adopts and set up a little thing you could download for points to help out as well.
TL;DR this has been a very emotionally and mentally tiring if year, and I guess I couldn't really handle it and I ended up having to pulling out of my classes due to lack of focus and some other stuff. Uh so I guess this is where the help part comes in?? Basically as long as I was in school my mom would give me allowance but since for at least this semester and the next I won't be in classes. that means until I find a job I have no money and so it would be really really helpful if you guys could help signal boost my commissions! (they are linked under the journal title and above all the text between the green brackets!!)
Um i was also considering doing adopts as well!! so it would be great if you guys would give me some ideas of what you would want if i did some be it themes,species, color schemes whatever!

Emergency commissions
General | Posted 12 years agoI have come across an issue. I am currently jobless and In need of about $90 dollars to replace a broken mac charger. So for the time being I have my commissions open for a special commission of a fullbody with flat colors+a full color shoulders up drawing for $10!
