Pow [nega-panda] - "prisoner of war". well, she is a serial rapist...and love IS a battle field. (i just wanted an excuse to say robin williams' "ugly panda bitch" line)
Diy Matyroshka [carpenter bee] - "do it yourself" (a suit i'm building because the initial artist contacted to make this suit decided to decline the commission).
Dhelirae Tremmins [elephant] - delirium tremens = alcohol hallucinations (pink elephants).
Shugrkyoob Aurora [polar bear] - she's bjork. the end. (sugercubes - bjork's 1st band. aurora - song title. polar bear - bjork's favorite animal.)
Amphere Faraday [moth] - ampere = measure of the amount of electric charge passing a point per unit time. (amphy works as a lighting technician).
Ophelia Flanagan [saruopelta] - uhh... she's an orange irish dinosaur. idk...
Amadeus Templar [baphomet] - uhhh...i watched "amadeus" one too many times before creating a character for an rp.

Rodimus Glenn [skunk] - works on cars as hobbie. owns an old, beat-up heavily-modded red RV. since he's a groundsman at a cemetery, one day i'll probably have him dig up the matrix of leadership...and throw it in the trash JUST LIKE THE REAL RODIMUS. >:C
Vanon Xellos Lythe [turtleshell tabby] - based on my cat <3, who in turn was named after a character i created in back middle school. (middle name comes from "Slayers".)
Bauer (Brüder) Hayes [tasmanian devil] - a character i accidentally made twice...legally-blind bassit in a 5 man rock outfit from Perth, West Australia..oh. yeah, his last name is based off the lead singer from "Men at Work".
Dorian Levitt [dodo] - less of a pun than all the others. he's a skittish jew-bird with my brother's middle name.
Sade FourThreeThree (aka White Noise) [ghost/demon] - dorian's personal phobia-incarnate named after the fear of silence. "4'33" is the title of a 'song' by John Cage that is literally 4 min and 33 sec of silence.
Sklep [miasma/demon] - named after the Greek god of healing and medicine, Asclepius...even though he's the EXACT opposite, seeing as he's pretty much just a plague cloud (another rp character).




i need to actually use these characters for something (besides amphy; she's actually not from the same continuum as the others).

so, for shits and giggles, ive decided to join one of the "PKMN Battle Frontier" groups on DA.
gotta make a human avatar and all that. i have one technically (strauss), but i kinda wanted to see the type of kids we'd be up against before i used him.

i was scrolling through a bunch of the competitors and junk and noticed there aint that much variation to these cats. everyone is a hyperactive animu teenager. which i guess makes sense, seeing what we're talking about, buuuuut...

time to mix it up.
all i gotta say is, i hope Victory Road is handicap accessible.

hey.

i love making badges at cons. its a fun and inventive experience for me.
i remember being my first con, making my "PEZ" badges for the first time. those things bloody took off! then the "Hello, my name is" badges. and the HUGEASS graffiti badges. and the bobbles...and the cereals.

i've done so many variations its kinda crazy. i'm not really one to stick to standard badges. i HAVE them, if they're wanted, but i really like making crazy, themed badges.

i DO remember however, a couple of months after my first con though...
one of my exs asked me "if it was okay" if his new friend made PEZ badges too. i mean, not like i could say 'no' because its not like its a 'copyrightable' type thing, but that didnt make it a good thing to ask for. it was a bit... IRRITATING.

i work hard on the ideas i make to try to give a breath of fresh air to a sometimes stale/bland market. if it works, cool. if it doesnt, i'll try something new. i just dont like it when "something works" and i see the korean knock-off being sold back to me the next day.

there IS something to be said about "universal consciousness" and how "nothing is original anymore". hell, i've had ideas at the same time as others and they just happened to pull it off first. *shrugs* it happens. but its kinda like going to prom with the same dress on as 3 other girls. someone has to go change.

so, while taking a shower today, i realized just how many stupid scars i have all over me -

- half of them are from vanon
- a huge one on my knee from that gwar concert
- a couple on my upper thigh and shoulders from when i thought i would try out parkour
- a couple more on my arms when trying to crawl out of a ditch i had fallen in
- that L shaped one on my forehead from when rae (my bro) hit me with a boat when we were little...
