so, in my krav class, we've recently been asked to bring in some CDs to play during our exercises. the only catch is it has to be an hour long and "workout appropriate" (aka, yani probably wouldnt suffice).
i wanna make 3 different CDs:
a - METAL (or punk)
b - chiptune (both game and original artist creations)
c - dubstep/dnb
you guys have any band (or just song) suggestions on what i should burn on these cd? i already have a couple of song in mind for each, but anything helps.

General | Posted 15 years agoim getting the urge to make/buy a suit again. it may be just SO close to halloween (and right after an anime con) that the costuming bug just wont let me go. but i still have no idea what creature i would wanna go as (so i can dick around and be silly at peoples).
- Mia (bat) is too much like me, so i dont feel like i NEED a suit of her. she IS me.
- Pow (panda) is an evil bitch and i dont think i could be THAT much of a dick to people, even just acting. plus, im not really her body type...and her hair is impossible.
- Dorian (dodo) is tough `cause i'm not a tall, lanky jewish man. i dont think i could pull it off, even in suit.
- Dhelirae (elephant) is a possibility. but i havent seen too many `phant suits to get a bearing on where to start. plus, that trunk would prolly be a BITCH to do.
if i were to make up a character to suit as, i dont know what i'd do either because im a horrible person and cant have a "standard" animal - so most canines and felines are just right OUT. i have a moth, a sauropelta, a baphomet, and a hogupine but i dont know if like them enough to blow that much money on a suit of them...

rehashing eruka frogg ( might need to restyle the wig since my locks got longer ).
so tempted to wear Amerlia Wil Tesla Seyruun (but i need to redo her neck piece and there isnt enough time - plus, Johnny's not here to be my Zelgadiss).
...i kinda wish i still had my shit for SonSon (that one was fun as shit, even though noone knew who i was until i started whooping up on MvC2 with her and quoting her).
i wish i had some sort of ELABORATE cosplay, but i'm part of the "Quarter Circle Back" crew; we dont do stuff on schedule, to schedule, or ahead of schedule - whether it be eating, sleeping, or (cos)playing.

ever time i watch this show, i keep remembering Big Pete Wrigley is bloody hot.
last time i saw him was on a Nada Surf video in 2008 (and a tech support commercial before that in 2004).
but besides all of that, that show was so well written and had SO much feeling behind it. it wasnt just for kids. anyone could enjoy it (and not in a "we snuck hidden adult themes" in here kinda way). it was just pure fun. i really dont see how people could see this show as boring at ALL.

i dont know how i feel about the "Vulva Meme"...and not only because i'm a prude/shy.
it started out with such "good, noble" intentions; to help women on FA and just in general feel more comfortable about themselves since, at least in that regard, we are all special snowflakes.
but there have been so many misogynistic comments on these brave entries and posts, that its starting to feel like an unintentional breeding ground for trolls.
hell, when first seeing Liliosa's initial post, i was afraid more of "perverts yanking it to a rendition of MY junk" than a bunch of kids going "EW". fuck, at least the pervs are being quiet (though this is still a reason i MAY not do this meme).
i mean, i know this is the internet and everyone likes to ride on free speech's dick and say whatever the fuck they want without any regard to other people's feelings or tact in general, but sheeesh. this is one of those instance where anarchy is true: "your free speech ends where my rights begin".
i dont know if i'd call this a "Gay vs Women" issue, or just general idiocy, but i dont like when people intentionally say stupid stuff to piss me off in general. i've been discriminated against FAR more for just being a woman more than i have for being black, which is weird to me in a way - i dunno why. i've been told the only thing i'm good for is pushing out another hot gay man. i've been picked on because of how emotional i can be "because the estrogen makes me dumb".
though i have thought that this would be a challenging meme, i doubt i will participate just because i feel i may feel worse afterwards.

I'm going to Anime Weekend Atlanta next month and i'm cosplaying (making a "gijinka", to be more specific) as a reptilian-ish video game character and just needed a couple of resources, if anyone had some.
pretty much im just trying to find a good resource for making decent short, "thick" tails for saaaay... a baby dragon or the like. i've never seen this character taken on, so i thought id try.
i'd kinda like it to sway and be sturdy - not necessarily articulated, though that'd be cool
i mean, yeah, im prolly gonna be looking up some stuff myself for it, but if anyone has any advice i'd love it. thanks in advice kids.

it seems some people are perplexed by the "point" of model sheets.
basic model sheets "dont give" point of reference for personality, characterization, personal tastes of the character, so why do them?
to finalize the design, silly. for a definitive reference on how the characters looks.
they're just blueprints. geez.
i dont know where i was going with mentioning this.
but i'd noticed it more than once in the last week.
