Once again it is that time of the year where make-your-own slots have opened up for one of my favorite adopt species and communities: Stardragons!
Stardragons are a group of 8 humanoidfurry lite subspecies of an expansive world called Jo’arca. If you wanna check out the species and group, look over at

Dumb Halloween Pic Ideas
Posted 9 years agoWho knows how I will feel by the next episode but right now I just want to get a commission of my good good boy Ambroise dressed as Magnus Burnsides from The Adventure Zone. Which is an impossible thing because there is very little standardized about what he looks like. (And let's be honest, I don't have any character good enough to be Taako)

MYO StarDragon Rambles
Posted 9 years agoThe bad thing about watching myostardragons and being available when slots go live is that I start wondering about traits I haven't seen people use. Like custom cut or engraved starfishes gems. I haven't seen that but I have almost no interest in StarFishers (they seem difficult to RP in both being water bound and generally murderhobos). Still in my head I am tempted to buy an uncommon slot just to see where my brain goes with ideas. Same thing on the start day with Shooters.
We'll see how long temptation lasts. I'm trying to hold onto my dollars for some specific StarDragon things but already failed yesterday.

Quick Possible LOA Notice

So outside of holiday shenanigans, possibly going to be poofing from this site a bunch in from the end of the year and into 2015.
Got word that my grandmother was admitted to the hospital on Saturday and as of today was given an estimated 2 WEEKS to live. She is not eating or drinking and has been on a very rapid decline in health since I last saw her in October.
Additionally, my grandfather had emergency surgery to put a pacemaker in 2 months ago, and after that in the x-rays they found he has lung cancer. He was given about a year to live.
So it looks like 2015 is going to be rough. Not sure when things are going to go down, but there is probably going to be a lot of travelling and depression on my end. Just a heads up that I will probably be even slower in commenting and responding to things than I already am. Sorry.

The theme is Mario characters cosplay, and I have my bilby girly going in for the Luigi slot. If you want to be in there with her we still need someone to take the Mario and Bowser slots! I think a dragon or an otherwise predatory would be a fun fit for the Bowser slot :3
The slots are open to females, feminine males, and herms! I recommend checking out

1. Why did you join FurAffinity?
I had known of the site for quite some time but was avoiding it for various reasons. Finally made an account so I could be notified for genesisw postings/livestreams.
2. What does your username have to do with you?
Back in the day (at least 15 years ago now), I figured out what I wanted my main user name to be. I also figured that I would probably be forced to add a number to it, so I thought I would pick my own number. In the end in some places I decided to forgo the username (I no longer wanted to be associated with that character) and opted just for the number to represent myself. Inspiration for picking that number comes from Star Wars and The Prodigy.
3. What is your current avatar of?
Anthemis, a fursona of sorts.
4. How many watchers do you have, and how many do you watch?
Watchers: 82
Watching: 148
5. Do you have more than one account?
Not at the moment. I have thought about it, but I probably wouldn't have time to juggle more than one.
6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on FA.

7. What artist do you admire because of their personality?
I think I will give a nod to saetia here, since she is always so lovely and nice, but she will also stand up for her convictions and is incredibly supportive of so many types of people. She also isn't afraid to call people out on their bullshit that is hurtful to those dear to her. So I admire that she is both so strong and gentle.
8. Do you comment, fave, or both?
I try for both, at least.
9. What do you typically post on FA?
Commissions that are otherwise not posted on FA, or things I want to show off. Raffles and stuff to pimp people out who need dinero.
10.What's your favorite submission in your gallery?

For this piece I feel shizuworks put a lot of effort into giving the character style that was not evident on the ref sheet, and it just made the character that much better overall for me.
11. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Mostly everything, but this is an issue of not practicing on my end.

Probably somewhere from 1-4. Depends on the day
13. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Medium, I suppose. 70 wpm is what I clock in at.
14. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Asking me to buy something from them or have them pay me for something I own. Sorry, I will be making my own decisions there without your prodding.
15. What is the most annoying/offending comment you've received?

Four Twenty One
Posted 12 years agoSo today, me and my New Balance 421 running shoes took a trip to U.S. Route 421 and eventually had to get on to Old U.S. Route 421 to get to our destination. :D
I thought you all might enjoy that, because I sure did. That coincidence of the trip was certainly not planned.
I also visited 5 wineries in just as many hours, and tasted at least 30 different varieties of wine. Between my mom and myself we also bought 7 bottles of wine.
All in all, a fun and amusing day. Hope everyone out there is having a good weekend!

Iron Artist to Improve

Had an interesting commission idea thrown at me recently.
faeseiren is currently doing another Iron Artist round for $15 artistic freedom commissions to help them improve and stretch their artistic abilities. Since they want to get better at lighting, setting and angles, you give them your reference and some info about the scene you are thinking of, like hobbies or setting or a time of day, and then she will draw what comes to mind for that.
So I think that is a pretty neat idea, they have a cool and varied style, and I am all for learning to do better! If you want to check it out for yourself go here:

Recent Uploads

As some of you might have noticed I am trying to upload a little bit more frequently around here.
If you are looking for any kind of rhyme or reason to it, I am mostly trying to upload images that as far as I know are not already uploaded to FA. Be they commissions, adoptables, individual crops of group images, or what-have-you.
As fair warning though, I have noticed that a lot of these bits of art are ponies. So if you hate MLP stuff, I guess just delete it from your inbox before clicking it. :P I will try to stagger the postings so it is like a pony one day, a non-pony the other day, but no guarantees that I won't run out of non-pony material to use.
I may eventually go back to reposting images that are on FA and link back to the original image, but I want to think on that for a little bit first.

On Resales and Resells
Posted 13 years agoHmm. Have a few questions for you guys, and if anyone has an opinion feel free to comment (although if you comment 'adopts are stupid' you are just going to get banned from this page :D)
Point 1: I have bought a few adoptables from other people that they were reselling. Basically someone commissioned a design or bought one premade from a artist selling designs. I want to show off some of these designs to people to commission, but on a few of the submissions on FA, the original owner's name is on the piece as the owner/commissioner. So I want to link to these designs that I now own instead of the original owner, but I am afraid someone will pop in and go "You don't own that you are stealing!" or "WTF someone else's name is clearly on the original submission, why are you saying it is yours." Just wondering if it would make sense to send a note to the original artist to say "Hey can you change that information" or have the original owner post the same to the artist or original submission saying that I now own the design. Or should I just post the design to my own gallery and say 'Hey I bought this off of x who got it originally from y', which is what I have done with at least one character.
bllurg that was long and I don't know if it made any sense. Also stands as another reason I am not usually into buying resales.

They do some really cool designs, Homestuck fanarts, humans and anthros, and has a great style that reminds me of Kazuma Kaneko, who is one of the senior illustrators at Atlus (Persona 2 is what I think of when I see things like this from them http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7743966/).
