Hiatus Status: Officially oVER
General | Posted 7 months agoI just want to tell you all, thank you for your patience while I was recovering from the heaviest most difficult year of my life, I could not be here if not thanks to you all because most of you support me via patreon.
I live in Mexico, where access to free healthcare is possible if you have either of two things: A formal job or university studies... IT was not a difficult choice for me because it have been my dream to get a degree , even so if my fist attempt was a failed one (biology). I got into a situation where my medical bills were becoming more expensive every time and that affected my mental stability as well. So getting into uni would give me the healthcare i urgently needed at a much lower cost that it previously was.. have in mind, i was living in my own home, and i was making double the amount i make now, yet i had zero moni because all of that went away on medications and hospitals.,, now, after a complete year of hiatus of course i lost a lot of support, it halved my patronage, but the silly funny thing is, even if i make half of what i used to do, i can rent AND get free healthcare, AND study on my degree.
SO, I got into uni, specifically an art degree, and not only i have become much faster drawing, painting and my general workflow has improved drastically... It ALSO gave me the very much needed psychiatric help i needed, free therapy, free meds, and professionals monitoring my health due to a severe hemorrhage i had (I have chronic venous insufficiency) and my veins refused to seal shut and i was going to get surgery but luckily it resolved a couple months ago. as far as i know i am healthy again and only have to go once or twice a month to get my prescriptions in check!!
That and other mental health issues, thats what happened basically, I didnt want to stop drawing at all, but i basically had no choice, i could balance my health, uni, mental wellbeing and furry shenanigans'
I am sorry i was away for so long, and thank you for the patience and support. Again, this community, the friends and loved ones i have in the furry fandom and all the people who took the time to text me and note me, thank you, thank you, it is because of you that im here.

And the good news is that the hiatus is over so, expect more art from me!! I know i owe a lot of my patreon rewards so those come first,, also, by june, ill be changing my commission system, it will go by hour, specifically 30USD per hour, you'll see what i can do in 2 hours for it to make it worth it n.n/
